Ozonated Olive Oil is made by passing pure oxygen from a oxygen concentrator through a ozone generator and bubbled into organic olive oil for a duration of 2-3 weeks. The third oxygen molecule in ozone is reactive and bonds to the essential fatty acids in the olive oil to create a new molecular structure known as C10H18O3. In this manner, the ozone gas and its beneficial properties are stabilized and bound within the oil. When the oil is applied to the skin, the skin absorbs the oil and raises the oil's temperature to that of the body, releasing the trapped ozone molecule and raising the skin tissue oxygen level. By mid-age, our skins oxygen content looses up to 50% of its oxygen content. Pathogens, such as, bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites thrive in anaerobic (without oxygen) environments. These pathogens also have little antioxidant enzymes in their cell membranes, making them vulnerable to ozone's oxidizing power. The ozone molecule destroys the cell membrane of the pathogen which results in a disinfecting and sterilizing effect, all while leaving behind no toxins. Ozonated oils have been reported to reduce the signs of aging and improve the appearance of skin.

Best stuff I've found for really dry, cracked hands.
I ordered this product because I have terribly dry hands that are always cracked and peeling. I've tried literally every lotion and petroleum jelly out there. I've even tried a product called "Working Hands" that is specifically for cracked and peeling hands. I would put the lotion and/or petroleum jelly on then put cotton gloves on before bed. Nothing worked. I got ZoneO3 because I've heard that coconut oil works well, and I liked that it has oxygen infused into it. You can actually smell the oxygen. It has a sort of fresh oxygen, lemon-like scent to it. Very pleasant. So far this stuff has been working much better than anything else I've tried. I've actually stopped wearing the cotton gloves, and it still works better than the other stuff I've tried in combination with the cotton gloves. ZoneO3 is very good, and I highly recommend it.

I have used ozone cream in the past. The first time I used this I had an allergic reaction. It must have different additives that I must avoid.
