Really good alternative to dryer sheets
I was skeptical in jumping on this dryer ball trend but I took the plunge a week ago and must say I have been impressed. I did a few loads of laundry this weekend and deliberately set the dryer to a shorter cycle then I normally would and found these aided in the drying time. My clothes came out dry and without static and the balls were easy to retrieve after and were dry as well. I have not tried to add scents to these but in my few uses of these I can confirm they help shorten drying times and keep clothes static free, these will pay for themselves in no time.

Good Dryer Balls
Good price, and it does the job just fine. They're cheaper here than I could find in stores, so I'm happy with them! I've been using them since I moved into my dorm room at college this August and they have held up fine as well. You can also add a few drops of essential oils if you want to add a nice scent to your clothes in the dryer! These are worth the buy, and you won't have to buy dryer sheets over and over again. Overall, it probably can save you some money, and it's a more natural alternative as well!

I highly recommend them.
These dryer balls really work. I was skeptical at first, but gave them a try. As a massage therapist, I frequently encounter people with sensitivities and allergies to laundry softeners, and this was the answer I needed. My sheets are soft, static free, and no scent. I highly recommend them.

I've been having fun using these with my sheets and blankets
I've been having fun using these with my sheets and blankets. Things aren't all tangled when they come out of the dryer. The first one or two uses, they produced a lot of static, but that went away. These are great. My sister used them when visiting and bought some too.

Nice idea.
Sheds all over my dark clothes. Only use it with my light clothes. I'm not sure what it does, so I stopped. It's supposed to soften clothes, but I don't think it does any more than nothing at all. Oh well. Nice idea.

Worth a try
I saw these at a relative's house and thought I would try them. They do help with static cling and lessen the need for dryer sheets. I was hoping they would help very small loads dry better, but they don't seem to make much difference. I have never used tennis balls or whatever, so I can't compare them to anything else.

Not as nice as the other brand I have. Is less dense & pills.
So I bought one set of a different brand (Uniwaresal Premium Quality Wool Dryer Balls, also purchased on Amazon) just to test out how they work. I have excema issues and can only use very basic detergent and most softners cause me to break out in hives. Laundry balls have done wonders for my clothing coming out feeling fluffy and soft despite not using softener of any sort. I haven't noticed reduced drying times like they claim to do, but the fact that my towels and everything else come out so nice and soft without an itchy chemical bath has made me a convert!I then bought a 2nd set because my kids would lose half of them between washes, so I needed more than the few I could scrounge up at a time. I went for this set because it was cheaper, & I couldn't see the difference for why one would cost more than another. Unfortunately all laundry balls are not created equal. The 2nd brand is a little whiter and much squishier, & has developed pills over time. With natural colored wool I expect some variance in color, however I prefer the slightly more expensive and much more dense Uniwaresal brand I have. Pay the few bucks more, a dense ball will beat your laundry into submission much more effectively!I've never tried this with my essential oils because I actually prefer not to have scented clothing after they are clean. I also want to know if those diapers (etc) are TRULY clean and don't want EOs hiding any inkling of escaped baby mess. All in all, not perfect, but still pretty good product, imo! I give this 2nd brand 4 stars, but only because I know there's better available. If I hadn't experienced the others first, I probably would have been completely content with these as well. But when/if it comes time to reorder or if I was encouraging family & friends to buy laundry balls, I would def recommend the other brand over this one. That said, if money is truly tight, and/or you aren't convinced these will be the thing for you, going for the slightly cheaper brand wouldn't be a horrible choice. Hope that helps! :)

Love these!
Absolutely love these! I bought these to save money on laundry products and to go "green". I use these with essential oils, so my clothes still have a good fragrance/smell, but without the chemicals. They also cut down on drying time, so less electricity usage. One word of advice, use ALL 6 dryer balls, even for small loads. I tried using 2-3 for small loads, and they didn't work as well.
