Was getting to where I couldn't dice foods with nice much and most automatic dicing equipment only makes them very small, 1/4 in. For southern fried potatoes and other diced veggies, they need to be larger. This is very easy to use..and doesn't take too large a learning curve on changing out the blades. It also includes a brush for cleaning..I soak just a few minutes, not a lot, in dishwater..then clean with brush and let drain. Have used the 3/8 and 1/2 in mostly.

This works well but the blades break fairly frequently (it does get heavy use with us) and are next to impossible to replace single blades. It does come with replacement blades but once you open the case to replace, you have to fit them all together to get the case back together--very challenging.If you don't have heavy use, these will probably work just fine.

By doing this, we calculated that a one-pound bag of frozen carrots, which typically costs $1 to $1.50, equated to savings of about $35 for us. The chopping process was made smoother as the kids pitched in to help peel and bag the carrots, and we managed to finish everything within an hour, thanks to the efficiency of the chopper.Overall, the VEVOR commercial vegetable chopper has proven to be a great asset in our kitchen.
