3'x10' Durahold Plus(TM) Felt and Rubber Runner Rug Pad for Hard Floors

Buyer beware: RUGPADUSA does not ship the genuine DuraHold Plus (TM) rug pad. RUGPADUSA ships a fake, fraudulent type of rug pad. As shown in the pictures on Amazon: The DuraHold Plus (TM) rug pad has chevron-patterned ridges on the upper surface. The ridges run in multiple alternating directions. This design allows the pad to grip the rug more effectively to prevent lateral motion of the rug in any direction. The fraudulent cheap imitation sent by RUGPADUSA does not have this unique pattern of ridges. The imitation rug pad has a uniform, homogeneous felt material that does not grip the rug as firmly as the alternating chevron pattern of ridges. Further, as shown in the images on Amazon: The lower surface of genuine DuraHold Plus (TM) rug pad has a hexagonal “tire-tread” pattern that is made from natural rubber. This puts real rubber in contact with the floor. The fraudulent imitation sent by RUGPADUSA does not have the hexagonal tire-tread rubber. Other providers on Amazon do, in fact, ship the genuine DuraHold Plus (TM) rug pad.

I read the reviews and was concerned about one buyer's warning that a different rug pad of lesser quality than the one photographed in the listing was sent. I contacted the seller who advised that this was a one-time error on the company's part in mailing the wrong rug and had been corrected after the buyer's review was posted. The seller responded promptly to me and guaranteed that I would receive the pad shown in the listing. I contacted the seller again about preferred cutting size (fringe included) and the seller responded quickly and explained the process of using a carpenter knife or carpet blade w/a new razor to ensure a clean cut & recommended trimming the pad 1-2" shorter than the rug. The seller wrote, "If there is anything else that I can do for you please let me know." Customer service was excellent and shipping was fast. The pad was easy to cut and it doesn't move. I'm very pleased!! Thank you.

My husband is a professional carpet/rug cleaner and the 35 years he has been cleaning he always sells and recommends Durahold pad. Sticks to the floor and the rug does not move on the pad. Does what it says it will do.

I have two large area rugs which, when installed, were given very thin rubber pads. With 2 Labs playing, the rugs were constantly being thrown back and then the pads were chewed up. The new pads keep the rugs from flipping over, and give a much more lush feel to the rugs. I'm very happy to have purchased the pads. They make my life a lot easier!

I needed a pad to stabilize the rug I just wove for the kitchen, and chose the 3’ x 10’ (true size) which I cut down to 8’ to rough fit my rug. The pad holds the rug in place, neither rug nor pad shifts in any direction, and it’s a pleasure to stand on. I was concerned about reports of a strong chemical odor since I am sensitive to scents, but there was very little odor which completely dissipated within 24 hours. In the photo the pad is visible at the edge of the rug since the rug has “relaxed” now that it’s off the loom and is about a 1/2” smaller in length & width than the planned 3’ x 8’ I started with. Again, the initial trim was quite easily accomplished and I’ll do a final fitting in a week or so. The order was filled right away and delivered sooner than expected. I recommend this rug pad and will be purchasing from this vendor again.

This is the largest deluxe rug pad (9x12’) that I purchased from the seller (RUGPADUSA), but I’ve purchase two others and so far I’m loving them. I have slightly uneven hardwood floors in my 60 yo house and I was having a problem with rugs slipping in high traffic areas when I tried to use the Low cost waffle weave pads. I search online and this kind of deluxe pad was mentioned as a worthy product with better grip and three weeks later, it seems to be an accurate claim. Added bonus is that all of my rugs have slightly more give due to the 1/4” gelf padding when I stand on them and are more comfortable, especially my large thin living room rug. I asked RUGPADUSA to trim my pad by 6” before sending it but they said they no longer provide that service. I was able to trim it myself by laying it out upside down first, measuring and marking a 6” border on the rubber side and then trimming it with medium heavy fabric shears.

I searched the internet for a good high quality rug pad as this was my first rug purchase. Between the flooring manufacturer and a prominent rug company I was directed to the Durahold Plus Rug Pad from Pad Liquidators. This rug pad as met all my expectations and I feel was a good value for the quality of the pad. I am one to read reviews on end before making a purchase and BEWARE that if you want the HIGH QUALITY Durahold Plus Rug Pad, make sure to purchase from Pad Liquidators as they are the go to store for high quality pads. Could not be happier with my purchase.

I have several Persian rugs throughout my home on hardwood floors. I also have a very rambunctious dog who loves running through the house and constantly flipping or sliding those rugs. Ive tried other pads and corner adhesive tapes. None of them hold the rugs in place. This felt and rubber pad does the trick. It is just the right thickness and definitely keeps the rugs from moving. Also doesn't leave yucky hard to remove residue on the floor like the tapes. I had to cut the pads to the size of the rugs, which are odd sizes due to being handmade, but it was not difficult to cut with just sewing scissors. I recommend these rug pads!

It doesn't get better than this when it comes to rug pads.We took a chance on this for our living room rug, feeling slightly weary of the cost. However, getting it custom cut made a big difference, and holy cow is this thing every comfortable. It was like upgrading our actual rug to one that we want to lie on, play with the kids on, and just feel extra comfy walking over. We've since bought this for all of our other rugs. Money well spent, we say.

I am not a rug pad expert. This is the first rug pad I have ever purchased. However, I did do a lot of reading online before making this purchase. I am using this rug pad with a 9'X12' tufted wool rug from Pottery Barn. The rug itself is very heavy and an half inch thick - but still I find the rug does shift around even with heavy furniture placed on top. So that is why I ordered a rug pad . This rug pad came exactly one week after I ordered it - so I am pleased with their shipping speed (although the box was damaged and the rug pad was slightly soiled where it was exposed). This rug pad has extremely good grip -the rubber on the bottom of the rug pad securely grips the floor and the scratchy felt on the top of the rug pad securely grips the rug. I did notice, however, that this rug pad IS NOT .25 inches thick as advertised by RUGPADUSA. It measures slightly less than .25 inches thick. I was surprised by this because another Durahold seller advertised this rug pad as 1/3 inch thick. So I was expecting this rug pad to be at least .25 inches thick. But it definitely isn't. In my case this turned out to be a good thing...because my rug is already quite thick on its own I didn't want to add too much extra height with a rug pad. So it all worked out in the end. I would also add that this rug pad DID NOT come custom cut to fit my rug (even though I specifically emailed RUGPADUSA prior to ordering to confirm that they did do custom cutting). So be forewarned that this rug does not come custom cut. I had to go to Home Depot to purchase a heavy duty exacto knife and spend a few hours measuring and cutting on my own. The rug pad also came cut quite "wonky" on all sides so it took extra time to do my measurements. I would buy this product again - but I'm only giving it 4 stars because the company could do a better job cutting their rug pads to be more square, because their product description is not clear on a couple key points, and because it took me at least 3 hours to get this rug pad cut properly on my own.

Works wonderfully on my hardwood floors and adds a decadent foot feel to the rug too. The vendor was quick to respond to messages on specific sizes i required. Highly recommend the product and vendor.
