Great for newbies to the 80D and photography in general
I bought this tutorial to help me figure out some of the more advanced features of my 80D, but was surprised at how much more information I came away with after watching. The narrator went over every menu setting and feature, and always used common terms and examples-- plus, the visual element really simplified everything for me. And not only do I feel like I understand my camera in-and-out now, I also found all the other educational content on the DVD extremely helpful and inspiring. I wouldn't call myself a beginner photographer, but there are some great chapters that go over the difference between lens lengths, some of the psychological impacts of shapes in photographs, and other things that I actually ended up benefiting from. (Especially the chapter that talked about the different lens lengths and portrait photography... I will never use anything wider than a 50mm ever again!) It's about a semester of photography 101 loaded into one DVD-- but the nice thing is you can easily skip over this stuff and go straight to the 80D guide through the menu, if you want. I would highly recommend this guide to anyone looking to learn their 80D and brush up on their standard photography skills/knowledge.

I was lost before I found this product. All I could do was point and shot. After going this DVD I find myself overflowing with knowledge. I have a long way to go but this definitely pointed me in the right direction.
