God Wants You Well: What the Bible Really Says About Walking in Divine Healing

If you are looking for a book that tells you to accept illness, resign to it, this book is not for you. Wommack believes and makes a very strong case that God's will is always health and healing for everyone. In the book of common prayer there is one which says, "Forgive us for seeking only comfort and not strength." This book is definitely a call to actively pursue health and strength and to resist sickness of all sorts.Wommack gives the scripture references so his readers can look things up and check for themselves. Also, he traces ideas through the Bible, using the Bible to explain itself. A simple example is the phrase "thorn in the flesh" which is used several times in the Old Testament to refer to persecution from people. Not so many years ago when I was young, people also used this phrase to describe the kind of boss - or spouse - whose demands and complaints reached the level of persecution. He and his criticism was a "thorn in the flesh." By carefully examining the scriptures, Wommack shows that when Paul used this very same expression, he is referring to disrespect and persecution. This is an example of a passage that was unclear to me before and that Wommack's way of studying it has given me clarity on it.I liked this Bible study because it challenged me. When Wommack disagrees with a traditional interpretation of a passage, he carefully explains the scriptures that led him to disagree. That gives the reader the opportunity to examine assumptions and rethink attitudes that one absorbed without thoughtful examination.

I like to read different books by various authors who actually see healings take place. This book started a little slow for me but built up momentum. One point that often gets left out in many books is having a close walk with God. Andrew emphasizes this in his book. It is one thing to read about the true nature of God, but it’s far more helpful to experience the love of God. This only comes about when we are willing to spend some time with Him. That was a big “take away from reading this book.”

If only the church would get hold of this truth! 99% of churches are teaching that God puts sickness on us to teach us a lesson, or we get in a car wreck to teach us something, etc. I am one of the many pew-sitters who was spoon fed by pastors just because they're pastors. It's time to get in the word of God for yourself beloved! This book is chock full of the word of God. This is not the word according to Andrew Wommack, it's the word of the living God. There are going to be people who don't want to know the truth, who want a reason to live in the flesh and have a reason to pack the blame off on God but ask yourself, "do I WANT to be well?" God has always been a loving God and He healed us at the cross.... the war really is over. If you need healing, and are sick of being sick, buy this book and ask Holy Spirit to open the eyes of your understanding. Jesus loves you... that's why He came.

The is the absolute best book on healing (besides the Bible. From an ailment such as the common cold or allergies, to stage four cancer, this book is for you. Andrew Wommack explains things so clearly, that a child can understand. I have read so many of his books, and they have honestly transformed my life!!! So thankful for the ministry God has entrusted this man with. I also highly recommend Joseph Prince's small booklet health and wholeness through the Holy Communion.

Any of Andrew Wommack's books are excellent. Very easy to understand & should be spread to everyone so they quit blaming God for the evil of sickness & death. God brings hope & life!

this man' s teaching changed my life, for the best effects check it with the word, trust me it works, the man can be harsh but as far as I can tell based of what I've studied, and having taken the bible back to its original language, it holds up, and trust me I was the worst skeptic of what he was saying at first, I started out trying to prove him wrong I read chapter after chapter took it back to the original language, and every time I was met with a "dang it he's right" soon it changed in to a "yay he's right again" not saying I beleive everything he teaches and it's important to check it against the word AND take it back to the original language, but I CAN tell you God DOES want us well having been supernaturallly healed myself as a result of this teaching

This was the first of many AW books I have purchased. God wants us well is a message ALL born again Christian's need to hear about the truth in being healed of all manner of disease & sickness. Thank you Jesus I am one of those people who has received my own healing.

The product picture showed another language but thankfully it is in English. This is my favourite book and I have gifted it to many people. I also have the study guide which I have purchased from Andrews website. It is a wonderful resource to teach and minister healing to your loved ones.
