Advecta II Flea Treatment - Flea and Lice Prevention for Dogs, 4 Month Supply

Just to start off, always, always research pests in your area before buying a flea and tick product. Some areas have more pests than others and require more ingredients to protect your furbaby. After using K9 Advantix II, I was wanting a product a little cheaper but also something appropriate for my dog's treatment. Where I live has a few less pests than other places, being in the city and all. I was leary of the product because of price but it turned out to be great! The fleas, mosquitos, ticks, everything stay away from my little one while outside, better than some expensive products. Trust me, I'm not paid for this review. I'm a regular person with a regular small dog. Seriously recommend this product. Always pay attention to local pests in your area before choosing a product!

I been using this product for the past 3yrs and it really works. My vet uses this same product but they charge you more if they apply it . What I do is bath my dog with a flea shampoo and than... I use the flea treatment. I also use a flea treatment killer for the yards as well . I keep my grass short so, I won't breed the fleas . I also kill the flea that, are in the house 🏠 like their beds, rugs, blankets, and I wash them in hot water. Then I start, giving my dogs 🐕 their flea treatment in April, before the warm weather kick in N.Y and I end ther treatment in November when the weather is cold and I never had a problem with flea ever again. Try doing these things and see if this works for you . But this is what worked, for me, this stuff really does works !!! I need to mention one more thing my dogs are house and yard dogs so you have to be extra care were you walk your dogs. I wouldn't walk my dogs in wooden area , just in open area other wise your asking for fleas and tics . With that said ,where ever you live you need to start there flea treatment before the warm weather start in your region, don't forget to treat your yard as well, I hope this help .

I have 4 chihuahuas and a pretty bad flea infestation. I've spent so much money over the years on name brand flea meds.Read the reviews, crossed my fingers and made the purchase. The first box got rid of the fleas for about 3 wks second box, 4 wks. Much more comfortable applicator for my babies too. No more fleas...and it's summer in Florida!! The neighbors even have 3 large dogs behind us and the yard is clear. Give this a try. It works for us. We are sooooo happy to finally have found meds we can afford and they really REALLY work.

I don’t know what that reviewer did wrong that it didn’t work for them, but let me tell you ...This stuff is THE BEST. I will never use another brand. So thankful I found it. It lasts through weekly baths and rain and even keep my dog flea free when I am a week or two past the monthly application date. I’ve never had a flea on my pup. Customer for life!

I need to get one for bigger dogs than my fat chiahuahua. I had to use two on him but I didn't notice the weight on it when I ordered it. He still scratches some. Saw a couple fleas but he doesn't stay with fleas on him. The one for cats works for them, but I need to get one for a bigger dog weight. My Chihuahua is over weight.

This was a total waste of my money. My poor yorkie had more fleas after using this product. A week later she needed another treatment. Weighing only 5lbs. I am afraid to over medicate her. I have been hand picking off dozens of fleas everyday. My little girl is miserable. I want my money back!!

Tried this a while back instead of name brand Advantage and didn't think think it worked as well then - in fact, reapplied, per vet, after less than 3 weeks. A friend had recently used and said it worked great so decided to try again. I have small chihuahuas so shouldn't be hard to treat. This time was worse and my dogs ended up with an allergy from flea bites - now on antibiotic and special shampoo. Vet even said not to use foreign products. My dogs are 10 and have always been on flea prevention and we have never had a problem so good luck to all who decided to try...........not worth the cheaper price for me

I got this for my senior dog (r.i.p) and my puppy who Is 11 weeks. There has been no reduction of fleas whatsoever. My dog has more fleas now then when I first applied 2 weeks ago. Waste of money. I felt so bad that I had to say goodbye to my poor old dog and couldn't even give him his last week of life a flea free week.
