I wish I would have purchased one of these three years ago. We moved and built a brand new home close to our home town. From the beginning of moving in, we had issues with flies in the area. Every time I would cook something on the grill the flies would come around. When I would open the back door several would come into the house. I saw the advertisement of the magnetic screen doors on TV and decided to purchase one at Bed Bath and Beyond. When I installed it I realized that it was way too big for my back door so I started looking on Amazon. This particular brand had great reviews and it had various sizes and colors to choose from. I was sold and purchased one. It was a few days before Memorial Day when I purchased it and hoping it would come because I would be grilling on that Monday off. I came in in only one day thanks to Amazon's excellent service.I unpacked everything and notice one feature that the advertised TV version didn't have. This version had Velcro for installing all around the entire door. The TV version had you install Velcro in only certain areas. Installation was a breeze. The Velcro installation around the door frame took me about 10 minutes. When I put the magnetic screen on the Velcro I noticed that the length of the screen was about 1 inch to long. I ended up folding the bottom and stapling it, but later discovered that you could fold it from the top of screen.The magnets in the opening did not close all of the way. By loosing up the sides made a better fit. It did take about 3 weeks for the screen to close properly with no open areas around the magnets. At time I used to the push pins that came with to permanently secure it to my door frame.I received several tips from the company after the purchase and one was to use a hair dryer to get all of the creases out of the screen where it was folded. I decided to just let nature take its course. The screen works perfectly! Very well made, stronger than the TV version. I've grilled several times and not once did any flies come into my home when opening the back door.I did have a few other questions about the product and the company responded very quickly when I contacted them.This magnetic screen door is very well made and would highly recommend it! This product is outstanding. It is of durable quality. The measurements are sufficient to extend to the doorframe and it is relatively easy to install, even without a second person's assistance, as long as the middle of the screen is slightly raised to enable the screen to close readily. We live in a tropical climate and so this screen has been exceptionally handy for us. We are able to carry armloads of laundry, push our rolling trash can for green waste, carry lumber, tools, etc. through this screen. We initially purchased it as an alternative "doggie door" for our puppy to have access to the outdoors while we are gone and it has provided so much more convenience. The screen is held in place by velcro which is attached to the door frame with a highly sticky substance on the back to secure it to the frame. There are also tacks included, which we have used for additional durability in remaining in place. Not only is the product itself of excellent quality, but the service has been OUTSTANDING. This truly is a company that honors its customers by offering a great product at a reasonable price and has offered a LIFETIME WARRANTY as well. Because this company is honoring its customers through excellent service and good quality products, we believe that GOD will honor them. That is our prayer. If you are in need of a means of hands-free access to the outdoors, this is a great product to consider. You will not be disappointed. By the way, it also does an excellent job of keeping out flies, mosquitoes, cockroaches and even geckos!

I will admit to being a bit skeptical as to how good these would work and look. Very happy to report that I am more than satisfied on both counts. The magnets work really well even if we open the door wide... so far I have maybe had to do it myself only twice and that is with myself, the dog and my hubby coming in and out most of the day. I was also a bit worried that they might look tacky but actually I really love the way they look; the small lace like adornment across the top was a really nice touch which I didn't expect and the quality is actually better than I expected. They were also super easy to put up and so far holding well after 3 weeks of varied weather conditions even though I didn't put the tacks in.....I wish there was a larger size for a full french window without having to use two sets (which we have done) as I have had to tape the join between the two sets (where of course there are no magnets) .... or better yet sell panels with magnets on both sides..Highly recommend and will likely buy a few more for other doors to the garage & basement...

With dogs and grandkids, our sliding screen door was taking a beating. This product has been a wonderful solution! It fits the door frame well and the magnets make it easy for all of us to go in and out without having to worry about a screen door coming off the track or little hands going through the screen.

We love this item! It has a heavier net screen fabric that does a great job keeping the bugs out. Also, we don't have to keep letting our dog out when she wants to go outside. Screen doors, with built in pet doors are expensive, but this screen is inexpensive and it opens and closes every time she goes out and comes back in. If installed correctly, the magnet connects and stays closed quickly until it is used again. Our visitors thinks it is a great idea!

This screen is amazing, the quality is 2nd to none and the system for attaching is totally awesome. Just make sure you measure your door first there are different sizes. I will definitely be recommending to everyone and getting another

Worked really well on my metal framed apartment balcony sliding door. Two things I wish were improved: 1. There aren't any magnets at the bottom edge, so it's always open a crack and 2. There's no way of pulling the split open, when I'm outside I need to poke my finger through the magnets to pull the screen open.

We have two dogs that love to have access to the back yard. This is perfect. It's been installed for about 3 months now and not a mark or tear in it. The others I had purchased from other vendors, we were lucky to get a month out of it before we had to replace it, which gets expensive. So happy to find this company and a lifetime guarantee too! I highly recommend.
