I was expecting a little softer foam or something. The rollers are hard plastic but works well. Just not quite as comfortable.

I got this initially for my husband, who does an extremely physical job and has lots of aches and loves to be able to massage out the knots he gets in his calves and arms after working all day long. There were no instructions when we got the box. We basically guessed what was right way to use this. Yes it seem decently self explanatory but at the same time its nice to have some instructions on how long, or how hard, or even some good places to massage. The massaging stick is about one and half feet wide, the center has about one inch rollers and they move as you roll it along your body. The grip part is good, but small for husbands larger hands, its more suited to someone my size, or smaller. My husband mentioned to me that he had a few issues maneuvering it because it seemed too small for hi . While I had much less issue.My opinions are my own. I suffer from frequent knots in my back. We are always looking for something to help relieve the pain and tension. We got this and used it the night we got it and every night since lol. My husband said it was the easiest massage he has ever given me and honestly it was one of the best ones he has given me. It doesn't get too deep to where it hurts but it rolls over the knots and breaks then up. It truly feels amazing.
