Review: Great for standing water around pets - I have 3 dogs who are inside dogs but love to go outside & play several times a day. So I have a large container of water for them outside. But last yr. it became a breeding ground for mosquitoes. I ordered these because it said it was safe to use around pets. By the size of my water container I had to break each piece into fourths. So for me it’s very economical. I placed the piece in the water & 30 min. later it was gone. One of my dogs ate it so I assure it’s safe. She never got sick. It works great so far (I used it for over a month). No mosquitoes outside, in my house & no mosquito eggs in water.

I have a pond and it was breeding mosquitoes. I have been adding these dunks for over a month. Hope they are working. I didn’t want to spray with poison. These just keep the mosquito s from breeding. Easy to use.
