It is very thing, only one or two tenths wider than the Apple iPad Air 2 leather case. For the back it has leather on the outside, some kind of hard plastic material on the inside of the leather and microsuede on top of the plastic. The pro slides easily into it for a good fit, and seems very secure. It doesn't seem as though it will pop out if dropped. The cover stays shut when held upside down. The pocket on the inside is very convenient for small notes and papers. The way the cover acts as a stand is very sturdy, and easy to set up. It seems a lot more heavy duty as a stand than the trifold covers without extra bulk. I was really disappointed that Apple was not offering a iPad Pro leather case, but this actually seems to be better quality then the Apple Air 2 case for a lot better price that the Apple iPad Pro silicon case (back/cover). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars otherwise this is the best, premium *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 31, 2016* Wish the leather was a tad softer and that the plastic shell that the iPad fits in was not as shiny; otherwise this is the best, premium, thin leather iPad case that I've found. I had a case from another brand, which had a very nice leather material but the plastic used to hold the iPad was made of such poor quality that it broke at the corners after only a week or so of use.
