Overall, A Solid Controller
Let me start off by saying I am not an expert DJ, but I have been doing it for a few years now. I upgraded to this model from the DDJ SX2 since it was at the top of the list for Pioneer Controllers. This controller is not ideal for those who are just starting to learn how to DJ. It definitely has a wide range of features that would satisfy those who are want to perform at a venue or throw their own event together. The mic features on this controller are amazing especially when the music volume drops when one is talking. The touchscreens are helpful and a nice feature, but the screen material is not that great, and sometimes there is a lack between the display on the screens and the computer. I would compare this controller to having CDJ 2000s, but having the capability to run visuals, unlike the CDJ 2000s. A downfall of this controller is it can not run independently which for the price point is very disappointing. Overall, it is a great board that might have some minor issues (mostly touchscreens), but the options on it seem endless.
