Middle Earth Book Candle Set Literary Gift 3, 4 Ounce Soy Candles

I absolutely love these high quality candles! I also really like the idea of creating scents that embody many of my favorite books. Scents are just right for my taste - not overpowering yet not weak. They also burn very cleanly being soy candles. I feel it takes talent to create pleasing combinations of scents, and this candlemaker truly has a gift for blending scents. The sets also would make a lovely gift for the book lover in your life as they are pleasingly packaged. Being a huge Tolkien fan, for me these scents truly embody Middle Earth! I am a very happy customer, and have ordered the Hobbiton Hill set his month. I've decided to buy a set every month as a guilty pleasure just for me, and more for Christmas gifts for my 6 grown children who are all avid readers. Thank you so much for these delightful candles!

The person I gave them to is a super fan so they were excited about it. The scents aren’t very strong and I feel for the price and the size it wasn’t really worth it.

At first they smelled wonderful. After the first time it's like the scent disappears. Super sad. the only one that still has strong scent is the Misty Mountains.

I was really excited about these candles but extremely disappointed. The candles are very tiny but worst of all, when lit, they produce no smell at all. Which is really annoying because when you smell then while not lit, they smell great. I guess they can be used for decoration? Or if the the power goes out I’ll definitely be good

Okay, so I really really loved these until I burned them. They all smell really great, but when you burn them, they all turn to the same "candle wax burning smell." its like the oils don't go anywhere, and on top of that, they don't burn clean, I had stains on my rugs and walls from the wick giving off such black residue. They are cute to sit around and open up and sniff from time to time, but they do not function like a candle should. On top of that they are so tiny. I will not purchase again, and I regret spending so much on them.

I bought this as a gift for a friend of mine who loves both Lord of the Rings AND candles. The scents are very earthy, but pleasant.
