This is our brightest S8 lamp. It uses 9 large 5050 style LEDs and has a comparable light output to that of a 10 watt traditional, but only uses about 2 watts!The term "warm white" is made in relative comparison to our cool white versions, but these lamps may not be as warm as the conventional incandescent counterparts they are meant to replace.Beam angle is defined as the angle from center of beam to the point of half brightness of center beam, multiplied by two.Where a power adapter (ballast) is used to down-step line voltage (120V AC) to low voltage, a magnetic-based adapter or one specifically designed for LEDs is required for proper operation. Electronically controlled adapters for use with halogens will not work with our lamps and may result in dimming, flickering, or non-function.This lamp in not suitable for use with appliances such as refrigerators, microwaves, or range hoods. Such appliances are designed for use with specific replacement parts and can generally not be adapted.
