Let me start by saying that I bought this item with the consideration of good and bad reviews. For these silk pillowcases, it's highly important to wash items as stated in the instructions. I have naturally curly hair and use silk and satin to protect my hair at night. I like to pair a bonnet or scarf up with a pillowcase for maximum protection against friction and dry out.Silk pillowcases are ideal but can get expensive. Plus, I’m hard on them- often forgetting to separate them from the regular sheets when I do laundry.This seemed too good of a price to pass up on. Was it too good to be true?I’m not an expert on materials, but I was skeptical about the fiber content because it didn’t have a heavier hand to the fabric as my silk cases. Regardless, it was slick to the touch and I knew it’d work just fine for my hair. I didn’t read all the notes, so I was pleasantly surprised when it came in and had a hidden zipper to filly enclose the pillow.It’s been washed now a handful of times and it hasn’t pulled nor pilled like some cheap satin cases I’ve been fooled into buying in the past. This washes well and keeps its sheen.I’ve woken up with curls that weren’t flat, tangles, nor frizzy- and that’s exactly what I need from a pillowcase.For the price, I’ll pick up a few more to help extend the lifespan of each of them with a larger rotation.

I got this pillow case because (1) my hair is very fragile and easily gets split ends, and (2) my skin will break out easily if I don't constantly wash my pillow case. This silk pillow case has really helped me with these issues. I am not sure if it is just a coincidence, but ever since I am using this product I have actually had less break outs! The champagne color is really pretty. The material is thinner than normal cotton pillow cases but that does not bother me.

My girlfriend got this pillowcase with this material because it supposedly helps with preventing hair breakage. I can tell you that she is very happy with the purchase and she said it has made a difference in her bed hair in the morning. Even though we chose white as the color, the actual color is sort of cream, off-white, not completely white. Not a problem for us tho. It comes in this very giftable packaging so you could definitely gift someone this and I’m sure they’ll be happy!

Packaged nicely. I went with the ivory hoping it would match my off-white organic threshold brand sheets… probably should have gone for the classic white, but it looks alright. Comparing this with my Slip brand silk pillowcase (pictured in the navy blue) I’d say the Slip pillowcase feels thicker/a bit more substantial, but this one from Amazon in the ivory color maintained its shine and lustrous look after hand washing, while the Slip pillowcase did not. Overall for the price and ease of care, I think this is a great purchase.

Luxurious! Only one (not a pair) in one package. Extremely smooth and silky. Suggested to hand wash or machine wash with appropriate setting.In the pictures, the shiny silk pillowcase looks good in gold and white bedding to add an extra layer. The zipper is pretty much hidden.

This pillow case is so luxurious, soft, and cool to the touch. The silk has made such a difference in my hair and skin. I am naturally a side sleeper and I usually wake up with terrible creases on my cheeks and eyes but since I started using this I wake up with smooth skin and even smoother frizz free hair! I also love how it fits perfectly snug around my king pillow and has a hidden zipper.

Silk pillowcases are all the rage right now so I decided to take the plunge and give this a try! It feels so luxurious and elegant! There is a definite improvement in my hair and skin after sleeping on it. My hair is less frizzy and I do not wake up with sleeping lines on my face. I highly recommend this product and will definitely be ordering more of these.
