Another hit for Melonhead!
As I expected I loved Melonhead and the we fix it company. I love how it shows Melonhead has good intentions. But, for young boys, some things just don't come out as they expect. He learns consequences. He also knows that there are some adult he can trust to help him out, when things get tough.

Every time we read a Melonhead book my son decides that one is his favorite-- until we re-read an old one or get a new one. However We-Fix-It might be t favorite-- it is just the kind of terrible idea I would have gotten at the same age. My son and his friends have been talking about starting their own Fix It Company. His mom told him ideas like that are why she keeps him busy. The joy of te books for him is that he can see that Melonhead's idea is going to end in disaster and laughs in anticipation. We started reading this series when he was around 8. He's 10 now and could easily read them himself but he like likes the ritual of our nightly reads. So do I.
