De'Longhi EcoDeCalk Natural Coffee Descaler Large

This is the only Descaler I use for my delonghi la specialista prestigio. It has 5 cleaning cycles so it's a great value. The directions are easy, it works fantastic, doesn't smell, and the bottle is a great size.Now the target words are out of the way this really is a great product if you have an espresso machine and definitely a delonghi. It will definitely help with prolonging the life of your machine with regular descaling and general cleaning.It's highly recommended to do a water test and set your machine accordingly, it's easy to do and will also help the life of your machine.

My Delonghi is just over 10 years old. I've been descaling as directed since it was new and so far, no problems, just delicious espresso and lattes.

Bottle should have been shipped in a box instead of being swaddled in bubble wrap and plastic. It was leaking inside the outer layer of plastic, losing about a quarter of its volume. Worse, my hands got covered in it when I opened the package. This is lactic acid, which the espresso machine instructions warn you about! Other than that, it’s the right stuff for decalcifying my machine; the reason I bought it.

Works as expected. The scale on the side of the bottle very helpful for dosing.
