Nice product when you need frames quickly
I usually order my beekeeping supplies from Mann Lake. That being said, I completed my most recent order with them forgetting to add on 10 deep frames and foundation. I didn’t want to have to pay for shipping with them (you have to spend over $100 for free shipping and I had just spent way over that), so I turned to Amazon to see what they have to offer. This seemed to be the best fit. I always buy unassembled, so this was no issue for me. It was the same cost as what I’d spend at Mann Lake, it had free shipping, came with nails, and arrived in just a couple days, beating my Mann Lake order. Sure, the foundation is unwaxed, but I always buy unwaxed anyway because I prefer to paint on a coat with my own beeswax. I also like the black foundation because I find it easier to spot eggs. The nails may be a little too wide, but for the most part I was able to assemble quickly without issues. I will continue to buy from Mann Lake in the future, but it’s good to know there’s comparable options out there should I once again find myself in a pinch.

Good support. Picture is misleading - not wax coated foundation. Not as good previously purchased.
A box (1of10) was lost in shipping and they are replacing it. They are good at customer support. On the description, they don't say 'waxed coated foundation', but the photo online that I used to compare with other frames looks like the plastic had a wax coating on it. My only disappointment here is that I should have read the description *more carefully*. Lucky I had some wax coated plastic foundation left over from last year. The brass nails for the frames are a bit thick and cause splitting. Be sure to use lots of glue. I got what I paid for, but it was not as high quality like I had received from their products in the past. But I have to keep reminding myself - the bees don't care.

Even came with the nails.
It even came with the nails they fit in pretty snugly somewhere a little too tight, but that's okay, they're just like any other frames. One thing you can never get enough of is deep frames.

Hive frames
Received the order..packed good..went together easy...2 problems #1 the nails were to fat, busted the first frame..had to go to Walmart and get smaller nails, #2 shorted 1 piece of foundation. Only 9 pieces in the second box.
