MILWAUKEE M18 FUEL String Trimmer 2825-20ST Bare tool (Battery and Charger sold Separately) (Renewed)

I had purchased one like this locally and was not convinced it was running right. It simply did not have the "sing" of a good string trimmer. Got this and then was sure that the one bought local was not working right. This one "sings" even with the same battery. Took the other one back.

I bought this because my 10yr old was struggling with my gas trimmer in hopes that it would be lighter. After reviewing the spec's it was a full 2lbs lighter, but in practicality, the weight reduction isn't in the correct spot to help him.I love it though. Far more power than expected and the battery life is what I would expect.

This product works as expected. I already have Milwaukee products so these yard products made perfect sense to own. The string trimmer works great and has awesome balance.

I have a lot of Milwaukee Tools: drills, sanders, leaf blowers and hedge trimmers. So with two M-18 battery packs and charger I took the plunge and bought the mid-range weed-wacker. This tool is well designed, efficient and not too heavy. It’s still not as good as my gas Husquevera but it’s close enough that I prefer it. The battery looses zip after 30-40 minutes, but a quick replace has you going again in seconds. I’ve had others, but this one has an automatic feeder which is a joy for its hassle free use. We live in the Catskills on a mountain, so a weed-whacker is a must have tool.

Nothing says romantic like buying your husband a Weedwhacker lol. He absolutely loves this product and now wants the matching leaf blower to go with it. Highly recommend

The head gets so hot on this, that it melts the string together, It won't spin on low gear. It tries but it runs the battery so far down in about 40 ft. That it won't work at all.

Great tool. Kinda heavy though. Trims as good as my gas powered one
