The Resurrection of the Hero: Miguel Serrano

I got almost nothing from this. The author has some interesting ideas, but you have to guess at them. If the constant contradictions and repetition is part of the plan, it still precipitates to the fact that I didn't walk away with anything.A typical sentence is like this: "Indeed, Ash (Esche) is not a tree, a log, but it is Asen and Axis (Asche), the spiritual column of the Asen, of the Godo, of God, who has strayed within his own North Pole (Apollo)."All the parentheticals and lists are mundane and obtuse. I find Evola's work much more profound and inspiring.\EDIT: Serrano's book "Ultimate Avatar" is absolutely MAGNIFICENT. It's what I was looking for—much better than this one, I HIGHLY recommend it.

I'd love to have given this 5 stars, but there's a lack of clarity about the treatise. Is that my my fault, Serrano's or the editors? This is truly a difficult work, but one that offers many original insights into important issues, so I was glad to struggle thru it. Maybe the esoteric concepts will take on greater clarity w/ an additional reading. Maybe another piece of Serrano's work will bring the vision into better focus.

Esoteric Hitlerism at its finest

This book for me, is a second awakening, a life-changer. I have been a big fan of Savitri Devi for years, but I had never been able to "get into" Serrano; works that appear essential are not available in English or only in PDF formats that I find hard to access. I read NOS recently, but I need to reread it now that I have read this book - which explicitly and clearly, yet still poetically and beautifully elucidates just what is going on in the occult warfare now coming to a peak in this Age of Kalki. It ties together Devi's analyses and insight with the ancient Aryan history of Tilak and the ancient pre-Christian teachings of the Gnostics, as well as the Vedic and Hyperborean forefathers. If you find yourself awakened to What is really going on in our world and still longing to know Who is behind it, this book should answer your questions. Spiritual and powerful, intelluctually and emotionally satisfying, this book is the Key.
