I have hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos, and I need stabilization not only for my wrist but also for the small bones and joints on the top of my hand. Most wrist braces slant down on the top of the hand, whereas this brace has stabilizers on the top of the brace and it goes straight across one's hand (does not slant), keeping everything in place. You just have to find your correct size. I have very small hands, and this is one of the first braces I've found to fit my small hands perfectly. Excellent brace for my purposes, and I highly recommend it!
