I always rely on Amazon reviews to guide my purchases, so I wanted to share how impressed we were with these XTAUTO Collapsible Portable LED Camping Lanterns. We purchased these for a big family backyard camping weekend over this past 4th of July, and they exceeded all of our expectations.We live on a large property, and these lanterns were absolutely perfect for family members to safely carry and use while walking around the dark acreage at night. They are incredibly lightweight, making them easy for everyone to hold—not to mention they also work beautifully as a standard flashlight!Where this lantern truly shined, though, was inside our tent. We used it while setting up the interior of our massive Outsunny 10-person tent and getting our portable AC unit positioned. Just one single XTAUTO lantern completely illuminated the entire interior of that huge tent! The bright, even light made night setup incredibly easy.The fact that they are collapsible, waterproof, solar-powered, and double as a flashlight makes them the ultimate utility light. You will not be disappointed with these. Great and bright light. Essential addition to our hurricane readiness kit. They came charged and they last long.

We have these in our camper and use them as a flashlight and also as lanterns hanging around our site. They are solar powered rechargeable, bright and so easy to use the different functions on them. They are compact for storing so they don't take up much room. They give off a lot of light for such little lanterns. Would definitely buy again!

I bought these rechargeable lamps for my family in Cuba, and they have been very helpful during power outages. They are easy to use, provide good light, and recharge easily. I gave them 4 stars because I wish the battery lasted a little longer, but overall, they are a good product and worth buying.

These LED lanterns are bright, lightweight, and easy to use. The foldable design makes them convenient to carry and store. They are perfect for camping, power outages, or emergencies at home. I am very happy with their quality and highly recommend them!

These little guys are delicate, but they work. They are about as bright as Maybe two nightlights in a room. The flashlight is acceptably bright for twenty or thirty feet. LOL! They certainly are not "Hurricane lanterns" Handle them very carefully. I bought them for everyone to have one in their room in case we lose power. They will never see rain. When charging, the very tiny red light never went out. I just charged them for four hours. About once a month I will give them a shorter booster charge. In 5 months or a year, or so I will edit in to this review to update on their durability and reliability. Treat them like new born babies. Take the plastic of of the solar panel very carefully. I am wondering if the plastic even needs to come off, and would be better left on. I don't know. If I were camper. I would buy something a with lot more substance and durability. Something that can take light hits and some falls. These are not going to take hits and falls. Just not in their engineering DNA. I try not to let rechargeable batteries become completely discharged. I try not to overcharge or completely drain them. Keep them out of the rain! I like these little guys. We will see how they last. Remember.... New born babies...Not mature hunting dogs. They don't cost much. They are in their box and under the bed, waiting for a power outage. Something for a sort outage, when I don't have to start the generator up. I don't expect more than an hour or two from these babies.

These lights are don’t feel real sturdy and feel kinda cheap BUT they do give off a good bit of light and work as intended. They do have a major CON though. There is no battery level indicator. We will have no idea when the batteries are about to drain and need recharging. As I have not had a chance to use them in an emergency yet I don’t know how long they last before they drain or how long it takes to charge via solar. Another con is for everyday use like walking the dog or whatever it doesn’t fit well in your hand as a flashlight. It’s bulky for that with no side handle to hold it as a flashlight. But as a lantern for camping or emergencies it will do. I think I will keep these as I got them on sale and for the price I paid they are decent. I will keep looking for a solar rechargeable flashlight that will work for everyday use as a flashlight and not just a lantern. You can never be too prepared to have too may light sources.

Love these lanterns / flashlights! Light weight, truly bright , easy to charge - power and solar / impressive run time. I live in FL and we get lots of crazy weather/ if it’s not hurricanes it’s ridiculous lighting and thunderstorms… so power can come and go anytime of the year. These are perfect. They arrive charged about 60-80 % I would say. I have one in most rooms. I have full FLORIDA SUN in my backyard ALL Day …. If you live FL u know what I mean. I pop this in my windows and they charge quickly for me. Solar charging for me is a breeze and the most wonderful thing is no batteries! I have spent an enormous amount of money on batteries for flashlights… so glad I took a chance and bought these.
