MRP Consumer Products MRP Set Fingernail and Toenail Nail Clipper

Because I play acoustic style guitar, I need to clip my nails daily. I've had previous nail clippers from the grocery store that kept falling apart, slipping when my left hand tried its best, and ultimately losing its sharpness. Unlike those, this set of nail clippers has been super easy to use in either my left or right hand. They don't swivel/come apart easily when I'm trying to swing the arm around to clip my nails. The built in abrasive pad has an alter ego in that it helps my fingers to remain firmly where I want them even when my fingers are damp from a shower. The heavier weight reminds my fingers exactly how I'm holding it. I've had these for over a year now and I continue to be amazed at how comfortable and functional they are. Donald Norman, the notable UX/UI expert, would love these nail clippers.

I purchased these based on reviews. Shipping was super fast and came a day early which was nice. BUT the clippers themselves are really poor. They seem heavy duty and not flimsy at all. They don't clip all the way everytime. I had to go back on at least half to make a clean cut. I'm really dissatisfied in in this purchase and wish I had chosen different clippers.

I have had this set almost a year. Until yesterday it was great but as a complete surprise the weld on the small clipper failed. It is now three loose metal pieces pinned together. It wasn't even dropped. I expect the other will follow the same path one day not too far away.Its too bad because they are / were so sharp and effective.

So I've owned these now for at least 6 months. I am going to try to find a better clipper. These are a nice quality, very sharp, very attractive clipper, however.....after every time I cut my nails, it leaves the nails with a rough finish. My nails catch on my ties and towels for the two days following a cutting, until they get worn down by daily use. Sometimes it even leaves my nails so that they catch and peel off a layer. I really wanted to like them but I am going to try another.

Never thought I would write a review for nail clippers but after using some cheap nail clippers from a convenient store you really learn to appreciate quality nail clippers. These MRP Nail Clippers have some nice weight to them and clip nails effortlessly and with a single clip vs. the cheapo clipeprs I had before which would take a bit of a gnawing action to go through. This MRP set even came with a small zipper bag which I find very useful so my clippers don't get separated in my duffel bag. TL:DR Want some nice nail clippers? Buy these.

nice style and quality, they clip well BUT, the file area while it works well is too small, also i immediately missed the usual swing out thing to clean under the nailsas there were no instructions i would not be surprised if some people never discover the file area at all as it is covered with a plastic strip and makes it look a bit like the logo on the other side, in fact i started picking at the logo trying to peel it off before i realized the file was on the other side

His Clippers are very sturdy and I like them very much the only problem is the price increased and at that point I decided I wouldn't be buying any more

These clippers are a cut above. No pun intended. 3 Things of note, 1 they are sharp and cut very easily, 2 they are made of a thick metal so they don't flex like other clippers, 3 they have a nice diamond file attached to the underside of the handle. It could be bigger however. It's a very good value here.

I bought these and was initially impressed - they certainly looked the part and cut well, however, they do not last. I've been using for 10 months before the large pair broke. I don't cut particularly often, I use the smaller pair on finger nails, larger for feet.On this occasion, I grabbed the large pair to do my fingernails as they were closer and clipped, they came apart. I've never experienced this even with the cheapest of nail clippers (those cheap and nasty chromed ones). As others have stated, they all come apart at the same place, right at the end of the clippers, it looks like there is a cheap weld/glue of some kind sandwiching the upper/lower part together, but it does not last.Most reviews will be from people who had these for a very short time - be warned, they do not last as others will testify!

Excellent quality and very sharp. These will be a permanent item in my toilet bag for when I travel. The larger of the two is very good for toe nails and although they would also do for people with large hands I do not so it is nice to have the smaller one for my fingernails. They are good looking -one can describe such things in that way? Haven't had a good nailcutter in a while. I actually lost my nailcutter which prompted me to search for some new ones online as it is required to have short nails at work and thank heavens I did. This nailcutter will possibly last me a lifetime if I don't lose it. The nailcutter itself is made of stainless steel, and is not flimsy upon holding. It feels and looks strong. I instantly cut my nails with it and I can say that they are really sharp so it will definitely work on tougher nails. It comes in a pack of 2 + a handy pouch, and also comes with a nail file (attached to the cutter). The nail file is also great, unlike other files attached to the nailcutter that don't actually do anything, although the file area is quite small, it still does the job. Both sizes of nail cutters works on both my fingernails and toenails. Product arrived promptly and overall, I'm just happy that I finally got to cut my nails. Would recommend.

Poor. Fell apart while using, the welding at the two fixed parts failed as substandard (see pictures)

Hmm. Tough call.Used nic3 nail clippers in the past.But to be honest, these are nice. Ghey come with a little pouch to place the toe nail clippers and the finger nail clippers in. Not as big as would like, but does the job.Pleased with my purchase as they do cut straight through no issue.
