First off, this item actually WAS delivered overnight. First time for me. The fan is very compact, but looks great. I love the copper metal look. I’m very pleased with how it blows great air, even on the low speed. It sits on a placemat on my end table so it doesn’t move around as others say, but I think on a hard surface it might move around. Overall, 5 stars.

I got this to sit on my nightstand at night because my fiancé likes to be cold when he sleeps. The sound this provides is soft, and the two speeds are very useful. The high speed is strong enough to enjoy. I also love how small this fan is, and the look that it has is just as pictured.

Like this little fan. Not super powerful but does a good job in my kitchen while washing dishes. Like that it is metal and has the famous retro look. Does have only one speed.

Powerful, beautiful mini fan. It's not very loud on the low setting, which is where we keep it most of the time. It does get noticeably louder on the high setting. However, it's stylish and powerful enough on the low setting to give it high marks. We love it! We give it 4.5 stars

I absolutely love this 6-inch metal retro desk fan! It has a beautiful, elegant design that adds a stylish vintage touch to any room, office, or desk. The metal construction feels sturdy and well-made, and it looks much more expensive than it is. Despite its compact size, this fan provides excellent airflow. It has two speed settings, making it easy to choose the right level of cooling, and both settings do a great job of keeping you comfortable. What impressed me most is how quiet it is. Even while running, it produces very little noise, making it perfect for working, reading, or sleeping. It takes up very little space on a desk or countertop but delivers plenty of cooling power for its size. If you're looking for a fan that combines style, performance, and quiet operation, this is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

I purchased two mini-fans for my desk at work because the air conditioning in my office doesn't always work. I purchased this vintage model because I love the look and it goes with my office decor which I guess one would describe as '1920's Hollywood'. I also purchased another fan, The Homes 4 inch rechargeable mini personal fan. HANDS DOWN, I would recommend the rechargeable version for the same price, even though it lacks the vintage look. The vintage version, I wish came in solid silver. The copper and silver version is a little more feminine looking whereas I think a solid silver option would look nicer in a male centered office. I am impressed by the look and the build of this (minus the ugly black Holmes logo in the center, which really detracts from the look). For twelve bucks, I was surprised that a majority of this is made of metal ... maybe to it's detriment. The other fan I mentioned is fully made of plastic and maybe that's why the blades spin faster creating a better breeze. At best, this creates a wispy stream of air that will not really cool you down. It moves the air in your vicinity a bit making things more comfortable in a stuffy room but for the most part will not cool you the way breezier fans will. Because it doesn't blow very hard, it is very silent. The motor on my plastic mini fan is much louder ... but also more effective. This vintage version has 1 speed, which would equate to low speed on my 3 speed mini-fan. One bummer is that this was just thrown into a tyvek envelope with no packing at all, which meant the box was incredibly beat up and the fan inside was scratched up on the metal where the chord inside slid around. This is some of the laziest packaging I've seen from Amazon. Think twice if you are buying this as a present. Overall, it's an attractive looking little fan. For the low price I will keep it for my guest room in case anyone stays over who would like a little fan noise and slight breeze while they are laying in bed. However, I would highly recommend you look at the all plastic rechargeable Homes mini fan over this ... from a function standpoint and performance standpoint, it's night and day better! If you are going purely for looks ... this little fan is pretty cool.

Se nota gran calidad en los materiales, todo es metálico incluyendo las aspas. El diseño y color cobrizo le da un estilo elegante y estético. El mío es el modelo de 15 cm que tiene 2 niveles de velocidad, en el 1er nivel es más que suficiente para lo que ocupo y el ruido que llega a hacer es muy leve. Su alimentación es directo a la CA pero no tengo problema con eso. Me gustó mucho.

Es precioso; pero la cantidad de aire es testimonial. Si te gusta cómpralo; pero no esperes milagros, dado que es diminuto.

Beautiful solid little fan! I will be ordering more. It looks great next to my easy chair but would look perfectly well on an executive desk. I was shocked at the weight and pleased it was all metal construction. You can’t find quality like this anymore. I haven’t had it long so I can’t attest to longevity but I do love this. It’s so quiet I can have it on next to me and my husband, a foot away from it, can’t even hear it, and yet it throws a good amount of air. Everything about this was a pleasant surprise.

Its sturdy.. Looks so good on the table... However only one speed and its just ok.... If you are using it in Air Conditioned room then works fine... Else fan speed is slow...
