Mocha Java Whole Bean Coffee, Medium Roast, Kosher, 5 lb (80 oz)

I just got the coffee yesterday when I opened the packaging from the mailbox I got hit by the strong fresh roasted smell. Tried it out the next morning. Yep, it’s fresh! Probably roasted within the week I am so surprised by the price and quality. I use a Philips coffee maker so it’s automatically a 7g serving per cup. I got the mocha Java and it’s great! I’ve tried this type of coffee when I was still in Asia it’s almost the same level. Will certainly purchase again

Very good. Will buy again. Just a note, you can't dock stars because you like a dark roast and bought a medium roast. If you like dark roast buy dark roast. This is a very full medium roast. Very pleased with it. I have been on a search for a good Mocha Java and am so happy to find this.

Giving a 3 star because we loved the mocha Java espresso and have ordered it consistently for about a year. However, in our recent bag it’s very apparent that the beans are not the same as our espresso settings have not changed and this is the only bean we use. It is giving a very watery and bland flavor when it use to be rich and robust. We are very sad especially because we bought the 5lb bag for $50+ and it doesn’t even seem usable honestly. We are going to try another flavor bean (smaller bag) before we change companies.

I buy a lot of coffee from various sources and have found FRC to be a top-notch supplier. Previously, I've focused on single-origin coffees, both to understand the tasting notes on each and for some belief that they would be better than blends. The Mocha Java blend proved my belief wrong -- just like with Bordeaux wines, skillful blenders can come up with something magical.

It is our daily morning coffee moments. Full of flavor that never fades away. It stay fresh from the moment I open the bag till the last day - I buy the beans vs ground. Love the intoxicating smell while grinding it then brewing it. Hard to find this artisan blend in any regular supermarkets or high end coffee shops . The value to buy 2 lb is hard to find elsewhere but at Amazon. Highly recommend to any coffee lover connoisseur!

Lacks flavor and has a strange aroma. The whole beans had a dry texture. I make 2 freshly ground cups of coffee each morning and grind in a Breville coffee grinder. A ton of static electricity in the container after grinding which indicates a very dry bean. At best this is a coffee that can be found at any gas station across the US. 1 and done purchase. Very disappointing!
