Pet Plastic Slow Down Feed Food Eating Bowl Feeder Dish For Dog Pet Daily Supply

One of my mom's yorkies insists on playing a game with her food..."Bump the bowl, make the kibble go all over the floor, and then go find all the little pieces. YAY!!!!" Unfortunately, this leaves kibble-dust all over the floor..and if she misses a piece or two, inevitably, mom finds them with her sock-feet. Youch!!! So, I got this so the kibble-fun can be contained. Worked great for the first week or so. She was frustrated, but worked at getting the kibble. After that, the cute little fuzzy-rump realized that she could do the same thing as before, but now the bowl can be tipped!!!! Even though she's only 10lbs, she'll paw at the bowl until it tips and then her hide-and-find game is on. THEN she'll carry the bowl into my mom and drop it at her feet, informing my mom that her toy needs 're-filled'. The bowl is almost bigger than she is, but it's light, which ends up being both good and bad. Wish the base were wider so it wouldn't be as easy to tip, but it means it's easier to store...Pluses and minuses. Mom gets it out on days she has time to refill the 'toy' when requested and clean up after play time is over.

Love this bowl! I bought it for my 6 month old Siberian husky who eats every meal like it is her last. Before this bowl she would eat in 12 seconds (not kidding) now it takes her 4-5 minutes. I've had this about 2 months now and she still seems to enjoy eating from it and it makes her have to use her brain a little. Seems to be of good quality as it is good hard plastic. Haven't tried washing it in the dishwasher, but I assume it would be okay on the top rack. I loved it so much, I bought and shipped my brother one for his pup too!

This is wonderful. It really slows down our chow hound. I wish it would hold a pinch more food for a large dog. It overflows at 2 cups unless you are really skilled at filling it. Worth the effort, though. She loves it.

This is great! It has helped our Beagle go from gobbling down her food in 10 seconds to now taking her 1-2 minutes to empty her bowl. This is great for us, because it gives our Sheltie a chance to finish her food without worry about being bullied out of her food by the Beagle.
