U-Stand Whiteboard Accessory - Marker

I use this for my Kombucha fermentation container. I have had no issues with leakage whatsoever. It securely turns on and off without fail. There is been no leakage around the container either. It has a good flow for filling the Kombucha bottles. I have seen no evidence of any degradation from the acidic environment of kombucha. This spigot has a sturdy feel to it. I anticipate years of use from it.

I bought four 2.5 gallon beverage dispensers (with plastic spigots) for an event. Washed them, filled them (to make sure there were no leaks). 3 of the 4 leaked. SUPER irritating. So - I found these NOSIVA spigots, bought 4. I ran the same test - filled the dispensers FULL and let them sit. NO LEAKS. Really pleased! Why do the beverage dispensers come with cheap, crappy plastic spigots? No idea. These NOSIVA spigots are the bomb - really substantial and good quality.

The one I received was not polished thoroughly. The nut that goes onto the threaded shaft had a few very difficult to see but easy to feel slivers/spikes/knicks that I happened upon with my fingers but did not draw blood.Although the handle can be removed by using an Allen Wrench, the spigot's ball valve cannot be removed for a thorough cleaning with any standard tools. It does look like a hex sided bar might be able to be inserted into the threaded tube to disassmble the valve, though, I do not have such a bar.

I am really impressed by this replacement spigot! I bought it to replace the cheap plastic spigot on our beverage dispenser. The original broke and could not be repaired. This spigot is a stainless steel spigot with a stainless ball valve. It should flow much better than the original, and I don't have to worry about it breaking on me again!Sharridow, the seller, did an excellent job. The item arrived as described and on time. I bought this spigot to replace a plastic one that came on my jar. I’m brewing kombucha and wanted to have an all stainless steel spigot (some that are stainless still have a plastic ball inside) but this one does not. It was easy enough to switch my old one out to this one. No leaks and it definitely feels more secure when in the “off” position than the plastic one.

Simplicity is so wonderful. This is a spigot that you can use to replace the one on your beverage dispenser. It is all metal and not the plastic junk that typically accompanies even a nice, glass dispenser. The HUGE difference between this item and the competition is that you do not have to wait forever for your glass to fill up with this. The flow is very strong. I will be buying more of these when the weather gets nice and I pull the dispensers out of storage.

If you have one if those flimsy plastic spigots that comes with your beverage dispenser, then you NEED to change it for a stainless steel spigot. There are a few brands (I have two different brands, but they are exactly the same) out there, just go for the cheapest price available.The build quality is EXCELLENT!Water pours out like a real faucet vs. the slow stream from the spigot that comes with the dispenserInstallation was simple...just be careful not to over tighten so as to not crack the glass.If you have a one gallon dispenser, you probably need a narrow stem spigot (look for the 12mm spigot).I purchased a water distiller, so I needed a 3 gallon dispenser with a good spigot. I replaced my cheap plastic dispenser with this stainless steel one.

I've put two of these on water filters (Berkey & St. Paul Mercantile) to replace plastic spigots. The design is excellent with all of the major parts made of metal. The washers included are also superior with no leaks (one of the previous spigots, the  Berkey SG-7.5 Glass Water Level Spigot for Big Berkey and Travel Systems , wouldn't stop leaking).
