Brushtox Brush Killer with Triclopyr, 32 oz

I really needed something to control the kudzu in my yard even though I was told I could never kill it. This product is fantastic and although it may not totally eradiate it is sure does a good job of killing the top for a very long time. and that works for me. Maybe are using it for a couple of years I just may be able to tell everyone that it does kill kudzu

I have about ten huge, mature, established fifty-year-old tamarisk trees in the alley behind my house destroying a retaining wall and pushing on my back fence. They are like bamboo--destructive, fast-growing, and practically impossible to kill. I have been paying gardeners thousands of dollars to cut them down to ground level a few times a year for twenty years! Within six months they regrow ten to twenty feet high! The last time the trees were cut down to stumps I tried spraying Brushtox on the stumps. WOW!!!! Almost 90% kill rate. I have to respray a bit of regrowth maybe twice a year. Brushtox is saving me a bundle in gardening fees, and has saved the retaining wall and fence!

I got this as part of the multi-step process to kill off and hasten the decomposition of a couple of pine stumps that I have recently cut in my yard. I drilled several holes into the stumps using a 1 inch by 17-inch auger but and I applied this into the holes on the stump and waited for progress. This does seem to kill off any tree roots but it does take a bit of time to do. I then applied stump remover to help accelerate the decay. I do think this is a bit pricey for the bottle but it does have a good amount of the effective ingredient needed for killing roots. It is potent stuff.4 stars

I haven't found many herbicides that would kill English ivy but this stuff seems to work although it works slowly.

I tried many products and after doing a little research on how to completely get rid of Japanese not weed I found this product. Japanese knot weed is so invasive and roots Go 10 feet under! As you can see in the pictures I have and before and after Of what the area looks like. I have circled one lonely Japanese knot weed that I will treat again and get rid of that. I spend years trying to get rid of this invasive species with no luck until I got this product! I’ve been treating this property for almost 3 years killing this stuff off. This is the best product on the market if you need to get rid of any kind of Invasive plant. It’s important If you have something you need to kill amongst your garden, you want to paint this product on to what you want to get rid of. I also added a little bit of vegetable oil, probably about an eighth of a cup to help it stick to the plant.

It kills brush very well

I've had it for maybe two years. It works period. I only spray once. I think the first year I did once but last year I had to do it twice a few months later. I bought it because I had weeds that cheaper stuff took care off but I had a neighbors blackberry tree that had roots damaging my patio. Since diplomacy couldn't resolve, I just sprayed my property once and within a week or two, I saw those tree leaves withering like it was the end of fall. Amazing. The weeds that came between my patio stones never came back again all season. I had a stubborn tree that keeps growing on my other deck and I break it every year and it comes back. Sprayed this and it withered but stood. broke it again and sprayed and that was the end. I highly recommend it. It's expensive but it works. I'm glad other people had left reviews because it convinced me to buy. Amazon had a good price.
