Intriguing!
The cover and the title caught my eye, so I just had to read it. Very different from anything I've read before, but I was caught in the first chapter, and ended up reading the entire book in one afternoon. I guess you could say I was spellbound.Wonderful characters, and you want everything to work out for the best, for them. The ending caught me totally off guard. It seemed so abrupt, but it was not a bad ending, just not what I was expecting. Yes, I recommend it! Anything that I can't put down, I must give credit to.

Ending was problematic for me.
Excellent idea for a story line. You know right out of the gate, that there would be darkness. I thought the characterization was good. The story had a good flow and kept my attention. Only problem with the book was the ending. It came quickly, was not logical, and I'm pretty sure that the story had several events that didn't fall in line with the ending. There was just simply not enough text to convince me of the ending.

Great young adult story
Great book for young adults. An afternoon read that keeps you interested and turning pages to finish. I would have liked to see an epilogue after the story ended.

A study of abnormal behavior.
This book was a surprisingly different sort of story. It was not until the end that abnormalities suffered by the main character became apparent. I liked it and will be reading more of them in the future.

It was ok
The story was decent, a quick cover to cover read for me. It was entertaining and held my attention. The ending with the big reveal felt rushed. The story ending needed to be developed and expanded more. I don't regret grabbing this book, free on Amazon at the time. I would try another book from this author

Not great but I have read worse
This is an okay book. Not great but I have read worse. Good editing. I absolutely HATED the ending. Other reviews said it was a plot twist. What twist? It ended very abruptly. It took 2 pages to reveal what I had already figured out midway through the book.SPOILER ALERT***There was absolutely no explanation as to why Steven was hallucinating Pork. Nothing. Just him saying he saw her and everyone saying, Nope, there's no one there. And he's all "Oh, well okay then." WTH?

Disturbing and Fun
Well... What can I say? It's crazy how we deal with expectations, right? You build this relationship with the characters and instantly, as you progress, you develop this weird sense of prediction towards those characters. What's going to happen, The turn over, the ending. When we are completely right we could say that that specific story is, somehow, predictable. Not that being predictable is bad, but either way this is nit she case we see in "Pork". Throughout the whole book I really tried to see where it was all going, I was right with some small things but never about the ending. R. S. Anthony leads you into believing in one thing when it's completely the opposite and I really like stories like that. Besides that, it's an easy narrative with very comfortable words (I'm not a native english speaker) and with an amazing pace that never gets you to be tired. I really got attached the characters in a way that made me feel some sort of sadness at the end. Not because of disappointment, but because we usually feel like that when something great has come to an end. Can't wait to see more of this Author.
