What is the overall lenght of this valve?

Why would i need this over something cheaper like a watts 0061888 series 9d backflow preventer? installing on water powered backup sump.

This back flow is usually used to prevent contamination of drinking water and household waters. It has a double check valve to prevent backglow. The watts 0061888 is not safe for consumable waters.

I read that this does not conform to the lead free act. does this rpz contain lead?

Is this backflow preventor RPZ approved?

Yes, I think it is because of what it said in the paperwork. I have ordered 3 of these in the past couple years due to extreme weather.
