Rancho Gordo Heirloom Crimson Red popcorn

Anything from Rancho Gordo is good! I have been purchasing from them for many years.

Ok this popcorn is delicious. We cook it in a pan with a little oil and then top with nothing more than Kerrigold butter and Mortons salt. Even my 4 year old knows that this popcorn is preferable to others. (Like when I'm tired and feeling lazy and he asks for popcorn so I try to give him Skinny Pop--which is in its own right pretty darn tasty--but he refuses it and runs to the pantry to retrieve this bag and then very cutely says "Mom, pop, please!") Grrr…I have to agree with the little booger--this is the best!P.S. I think it is very tasty but I don't understand why they say it has "smoky" tasting notes? It just tastes like really yummy popcorn to me.

My favorite of the ruby kernels I've tasted thus far! And actually my favorite popcorn in general. Tiny but mighty is an extremely close second.If you want a truly clean and unique tasting popcorn unlike anything you've tried before, this one is for you.
