This is a pretty good clock. Most of the things that people have commented on are right - it has a lot of functional capability, the USB charger is nice, the radio programming is OK once you get it in you head how to do it. The alarm beeper is loud enough without being obnoxious, the snooze button is tactile and obvious so no problem accidentally turning off the clock, which was a problem I solved with my previous clock radio by putting felt feet on the snooze button so you could feel the difference.This thing is bright, even on dim setting, but I had some of the dimming film so it took a few minutes to cut a piece out and fit it on the radio and now the intensity is perfect. The 24 hour time thing is not a problem for me as I normally keep most of my electronics on 24 hour time, but if my wife was to use it it would be.Overall, decent for the price and nicely packaged

I really like this clock as it is hard to find good 24-hour alarm clocks that has this many features, but I am only giving 4 stars instead of 5 for two main reasons.1) The alarm clock automatically shuts itself off after one minute. Even though the alarm volume is adjustable if you're using the radio, it's still dangerous since I am a heavy sleeper and don't always wake up immediately when the alarm sounds. I wish the auto shut off was much longer.2) Despite the display being dimmable, the dimmest setting is still kinda bright in a completely dark room. I took another commenters advice and bought some red film that I covered the face of the clock with to give it a more appropriate brightness for bedrooms. What I wanted was an inexpensive, 24-hour clock, with a non-red display, and a battery back-up. The clock is inexpensive, has a 24-hour display, with large, bright, white numbers, and a battery back-up. So it does meet all of my criteria.I would have liked to see a better quality clock (cheap construction with a wire antenna)The major benefit is I am using it the bedroom, so none but my wife and will ever see it. I could have done worse.Pros: It has everything I was looking for in an alarm clock. Nice and bright!Cons: Cheap construction and a wire antenna. Wife hates how bright it is; the brightness wakes her up - really friggen bright!

I actually like the clock. It is hard to fine 24 hour clocks in the US. This is a good one, very user friendly. Simple to set time and alarm. The only thing I really don't like at all is that it is extremely bright! Even the dimmer function (which really has only 1 level aside from the default brightness) doesn't really help. I think the issue is that the numbers are white (instead of green or red like a lot of these alarm clocks). I wanted to use it in my bedroom, but it is so lit up by this clock, that I have trouble falling asleep. I am considering sending it back even though I like it otherwise.

So the requirements were 24hr clock and a USB charging port. Charging port exists on the clock but its feed through the supplied power supply which supplies 1amp only for the clock as well as the USB ports. So the statement of "high-speed USB charging" is really false since the specification is at least 1,5amps on the usb port. So ipad doesn't charge, nexus doesn't charge. Will have to measure the output later on today.However the 24hour clock function is great, dual alarm with either radio or beeping alert is nice. Sleep function for the radio is an excellent feature. If the USB port would be actually dropping more amps out this would be a 4 star alarm clock.

The light was way too bright even on the dimmest setting, but we solved that problem by getting the following product and cutting it to size. I bought this in August, but did not get to use it until now. It works, but a lot of buttons and it only does military time. It is too late to return it. I think I will cut my losses and get a better one. Oh well.

Easy to use and read, but even the dim setting is very bright, lighting up the whole room. I ended up taping a piece of tinted report cover plastic to the front so it wouldn't be so bright, and now it's much better.
