As a retired professional illustrator I’ve many, many times stretched watercolour paper on boards, often aware that time drying was using up deadline time. It’s ironic that in retirement I find a solution by buying a pad of twenty pre stretch sheets. Really is easy to remove each sheet after completion of the artwork and however wet the top sheet has been the next sheet is ready for work. And of course this manufacturer is the elite of British quality rough 140lb watercolour paper.

In the pad I recently bought the paper was labeled white but the actual surface was more like a very light cream. Visibility different to previous pads of the same brand. I appreciate that paper can vary in colour but this was quite a difference.
