This is a SIM card provided by Global Telesat Communications suitable for any unlocked BGAN terminal such as those manufactured by AddValue/Wideye, Cobham, Hughes and Thrane and Thrane. The SIM card may not work in your terminal if it is locked to a particular provider so we suggest you check this before purchasing a SIM card from us. Alternatively, you may wish to purchase the Global Telesat Communications 25 unit prepaid SIM which will enable you to test if your terminal is unlocked. Please note that refunds are not available on prepaid airtime. This SIM card is inactive and can be used for post-paid or prepaid airtime. You will need to purchase airtime from Global Telesat Communications before the SIM can be used. All pre-paid airtime options on pre-paid BGAN cards provided by Global Telesat Communications are valid for 2 years. Your prepaid BGAN airtime purchase will include low-balance alerts, automated top-ups and historic traffic reports if requested. We cannot guarantee that Inmarsat will offer a 2 year validity period on future purchases of airtime added to this SIM card. Prepaid BGAN airtime offers units which burn at the following rates: Service Units Required Background IP per MB 9.1 Calls to Landlines 1 Calls to Mobiles 1.2 SMS 0.5 Prepaid burn rates for other BGAN services available on request. SIM cards are sent inactive and the 2 year validity period starts from the date you request activation.
