The nipple shape mimics the breast, so we have had an easier time transitioning from bottle to breast. My son was born premature and then had an extremely prevalent tongue tie, so breastfeeding has been a long journey. These bottles have been great to transition him from the small Dr. Browns bottles to these, then to the breast. There are a few tricky aspects at first, but once you get them down it is so seamless. When breaking down/putting together the nipples, read the directions. It was opposite of the other ones I used in the past, I’m pretty sure you put the nipple through the top of the ring, not the bottom. (Mom brain and I don’t have one with me to check) Also, if you tighten the ring of the nipple too tight, the nipple can suction down. Do not over tighten. Just make sure the vent is up when feeding and you are good!
