SikaDamp 630 sound deadening is a non-curing, odorless, lightweight, and self-adhesive elastomeric damper that is ideal for nearly any automotive, marine, or industrial application where sound and vibration deadening is desired. It is comprised of high-quality butyl rubber and an aluminium constraining layer. Comes in easy-to-apply 12" x 24" sheets. Overall thickness is 60mil (0.060", 1.5mm) - 3mil aluminum layer and 57mil butyl layer. SikaDamp 630 is very similar to popular butyl sound deadeners like Dynamat Xtreme, and is superior to asphaltic-based deadeners. SikaDamp has no visible branding. It is manufactured by Sika AG and used by OEMs in many automotive, marine, and industrial applications. It has outstanding adhesive performance, allowing it to maintain its position in the most demanding vertical and inverted applications.
