I LOVE this flashlight. Right out of the package, the light worked. In my office, I have a dark closet with lots of supplies. I tried little LED stick up lights which did nothing but frustrate me. But this work light is wonderful. It lights up the whole space, and I can move it around as needed. Then when done, I hang it up on a Command hook right by the closet door, or stick its magnet to the side of my file cabinet. It is light, easy for my small hand to hold. Streamlined and sturdy. So I bought a second one to hang on my refrigerator for easy access during power outages. Sadly it did not work, but gave me a chance to discover the wonderful customer service of the owners. A couple of emails later, problem solved. Today the new second flashlight arrived. Works perfectly, just like the first one did. Thank you GlobalVen. Great product, great customer service.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:I was concerned I might receive a poorly made product, but it is actually well made and quite bright. Battery lasts a long time -- far longer than I've needed it to perform various tasks in the engine compartment at night. The magnets work well to secure the light to the hood or any ferrous metal surface.UPDATED REVIEW at 2019 June:Did not hold up well to drops, which of course can happen from time to time with a work light. Also the power connector pushed in, although unit is still useable. Reduced overall rating from 5 to 4 stars for this.

The hand-held LED light arrived in good condition, fully charged and ready to go. I use it in a science research lab where we need DC lighting to inspect recording equipment in tight spaces, and it's pretty much what I expected.Pro: It provides an even, bright illumination. In fact it's almost too bright for my needs, but I can deal with that. Very lightweight, and I appreciate the rubberized grip. The well-placed rare earth magnet is just the right strength to keep the light in place. I haven't had to charge it yet so I can't comment on charging time or battery life.Cons: Minor quibbles only. It's not clear what difference if any there is between the two light settings. A user could easily leave the device in the third setting (USB charger) and unexpectedly drain the battery. The plastic hook is not the optimal shape for hanging, and the way I use lights I will probably break it off at some point. I see this more as a work light than something you'd take camping or hunting.I'd readily recommend this product to others.

When ordering, order 2 at a time in order to have a 50% chance of getting one that works, then return the other. I've purchased 5 of these all together, and the ones that work are awesome! Great light! I've had 2 come in that wouldn't work straight outta the box. Amazon is great about replacing them, but the time factor involved is a bit aggravating.

I like this light. It is very bright and has a nice feel to it. However, while charging the light my dog got intertwined with the micro USB cable and it hit the floor breaking off the hook. I wasn't that upset because if that was all it would take to break the hook off it wasn't going to last anyways. I ended up making my own hook so the hook for me wasn't a deal breaker. The magnet however is really strong. Over all this will be a nice shop tool.

What a neat and useful light. I would give it five stars but the hook on top of mine and the charger cable case broke within a few days. I use this in my garage and now it is my favorite camping light, it can be bright or not so bright. It lasts a long time and it is just useful and handy light.

It could be a little brighter. the head is a little too thick and difficult to gets in to the tight place to get enough light. If it is brighter, I don't have to be so close to the place I want to see.

This light has proven to be very useful and casts a good bright light for automotive and household work. This light is well built and the batteries seem to hold a decent charge. I did have some fluid that got on the lens which left a spot so a good improvement is to add a decent clear lens cover that is more impervious to fluids and more robust
