If your dog is not completely satisfied the manufacturer, Audio Therapy Innovations Inc., will refund your purchase price. Review Our facility has a joint program with the women's prison, where dogs are housed for six week periods to learn basic manners. The CD was used for a specific dog that barked. After a protocol for using the CD was in place, the dog would bark for 2-3 minutes, then quieted down while left alone - even when there was noise from outside the cell. The guards in that unit even noticed a significant difference immediately after the CD began being used. --Anna Henley - Nashville Humane Association - Nashville, TNThe music seemed to instantly calm the dogs. After the third day of playing the music -- before closing time for a half an hour -- they would become very quiet when they saw me reach for the CD player. The dogs would stop their barking/howling only after minutes of playing the CD. The CD relaxed our newest residents, who are typically nervous and frightened the first week of their stay at the shelter. The effects are truly amazing! The music really seems to relax hyper animals and calm the frightened....the results are real. --E.V.H. - Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley, New Kensington, PAIt seemed to calm the dogs while played overnight. The new dogs that come in are in isolation until we are sure they are not carrying anything contagious; usually, they are the ones that are noisiest because they are stressed and confused. They usually try escaping by digging out or chewing their kennels. While we played the CD, they did none of this. --Jony Wilson Alaskan Malamute Oregon Rescue - Butte Falls, ORThe music seemed to instantly calm the dogs. Canine Heartbeat Lullabies
Mrs Sevaron reviewing since I'm the one who ordered this and have the primary experience with it.I ordered Canine Heartbeat Lullabies along with Through a Dog's Ear Music to Calm Your Canine Companion, Vol. 1 (CD) . Received them the afternoon of Aug 18, and have been playing both since. We've been having thunderstorms, or at least rain, just about every day since early July. They're not happy with rain, and the harder it rains, the more unhappy they get. They panic with thunderstorms.I had been playing the free sample song on the Canine Heartbeat Lullabies website for over a week prior to ordering - partly to let them hear it during non-stress times only (never played it during storms) and partly to test it when they were being heathenish. It was working so I ordered the CDs. First weather test came less than an hour after the mail arrived. It worked for the rain - they weren't happy, but not panicky or displaying stressed behaviors. Didn't work so well when the thunder started. The CD ended at that point, so I restarted it and touched the volume up a bit. By the time I headed back to my chair, one was in her "safe" spot unhappy but no longer panicking, one relaxed in her safe spot a minute later, and our scaredy boy was alternately anxious and okay but unhappy. In the following days, I played TaDE whenever the weather was good to get the dogs used to it, switching to Heartbeat when the weather changed. So far, TaDE has not helped with weather (the pop-up storms sneak up on us), even if there's no thunder. I now tend to play Heartbeat overnight and during bad weather, and TaDE during the day. I'm hoping that with having played TaDE for a week they'll soon have a better response to weather changes with it.Last night I decided to take a break from playing either CD. I wasn't sure if TaDE was actually having an effect ... until last night. The dogs were totally heathenish without the music, including barking more (although I suspect it was for tv sounds rather than anything on the street). So far, Heartbeat Lullabies is the clear winner for bad weather, but TaDE is calming during good weather. Your mileage may vary since all dogs are different.Part of the success of these CDs is playing them during non-stress times so the dog(s) learn to associate the music with relaxation. Expect to give them at least a week of listening to the calming music before using it for stressors, such as thunderstorms. And based on my experiences so far with these two CDs, I suggest getting the appropriate TaDE CD for your need. There are editions for puppies, driving, noise phobias, and more. Each edition is specific to a need and audience. Canine Heartbeat Lullabies only has the one CD.

Life Saver
My 9 year old Ellie can become anxious and sometimes panicky at night. The heartbeat along with simple, mellifluous lullabies sounded plausible so I gave it a try. I play the CD all night long for her: when she hears it, she sighs, puts her head down, then goes to sleep. Sometimes when she awakens with a start, I sing along (thankfully remaining in bed) which reminds her that she is not alone. Prior to purchasing the CD, it would sometimes take 2 or 3 hours to calm her down; while this event didn't occur every night, it was extremely uncomfortable chasing her around in the middle of the night such that she wouldn't wake the family or tear up the doors batting at them with her paw.Important: I read the reviews prior to purchasing this CD: some folks commented that it is important to initially play the CD while doing events that the dog finds pleasurable like grooming. My dogs enjoy going for rides in the car so that was my opportunity to condition Ellie to associate the music with her love of riding. In the sleeve of the CD, it mentions that you should turn down the bass in car radios because the heart beat will be too loud. I would give this product more stars if I could. I love it!!!

Soothing Lullaby's
We always play music for our pet when we are away. My wife read about this and wanted to try it. She thinks he is more calm. I don't know if he is or isn't? He's always happy to see us. He's never been an aggressive personality so you will have to judge for yourself. I am always a fan of soothing music.

Very Good - Recommended
My dog likes George Skaroulis music (simple piano music) best (perhaps because I do). This (heartbeat) music is probably a tie with "Through a Dogs Ear" series music - from my dog's perspective. All of referenced music calms her and puts her to sleep (I've got a Great Dane puppy - ~6 months). I feel like I'm "drugging" my pup with music to make her sleep ---- but it works! I would strongly recommend this DVD - Heartbeat Lullabies. Now I just need to get it onto my Ipod so that I can play it with my other "doggie music" in a continuous loop.

Wonderful Product!
This is a fantastic product. I used to have the same CD but lent it to a friend and I think it made the rounds because it never came back! I have used this CD for puppies and it works just like advertised, it's truly magical to see a crying puppy immediately calm down and fall asleep. I play it constantly throughout the day and it appears that puppy tunes it out until he needs it, and then it just puts him to sleep. I would recommend this CD to anyone with babies, human or animal!

It really works!
Ok, I read the reviews, but couldn't imagine it would make all that much difference. I am delighted to say I was wrong! No idea what it is, but this is pure magic. Our puppy gets very feisty at bed time. At nine months it's still a challenge to get him to settle. So I bought this. OMG, I did not believe what I was seeing. It's ridiculous. But if it works, what the heck -- right?! I highly recommend this CD.

Worked for our new puppy almost immediately!
I was amazed the first time I used this cd.My new puppy went in her crate and after a few whimpers, before we usually an hour of crying, she settled right down and cuddled up to her Lambie toy and went right to sleep. Now we use this anytime we crate her when we are leaving the house. She settles down faster much faster!

Converted sceptic
Even though I had my doubts tried this and it definitely has helped reduce the anxiety somewhat. Worth a try

Ridiculous
Very disappointed by this product. First, it's supposed to be for dogs! not human babies, so quite nonsense to nursery rhyme songs! Secondly, American accent English would not convince foreign origin 2 years old dog to make sense. My dog seemed to dislike the whole things and barked and barked while CD was on.

Drastically OVERPRICED
I must have had a moment of weakness to buy this item. Pricing is horrendous for what turns out to be mostly mediocre and only ONE not two (as in Volumes One and Two) CDS. My pup is actually more restless with this on than before and so far has not been any help at all in relaxation. This vendor is taking advantage of everyone by pricing at least 3 times what it is realistically worth. No, would not recommend or buy again. If the seller was interested in good customer service they would refund back at least a third of the cost incurred - even at that they will have made much more than what is legitimate.
