20 Lovely Designs from regular coloring book in Artist Edition Format – printed one side of the cardstock page
The media could not be loaded. I own both the regular coloring book and the postcard version of “Daydreams” by Hanna Karlzon. When I saw that the Artist Edition (larger format book) was available at a great value, I bought it as well. The artwork is from the original coloring book but is enlarged and printed single-sided on heavyweight card stock. While I wish the artist had included some of the women (and maybe a mouse) in this version, I am still very pleased to be able to use my markers on these pages. I used only pencils on the regular coloring book because it was printed on both sides of the page. The designs are quite detailed and some have intricate spots to color. Most of the designs are of birds and/or flowers and have lots of elements for a wide variety of colors. This is what I experienced while coloring these postcards and testing the paper with my coloring medium.20 Designs from the regular coloring book in enlarged Artist Edition FormatPrinted on one side of the cardPaper is heavyweight card stock in (slightly rough) ivoryGlue bound but in the style of easy to remove pages such as a notepadAlcohol-based markers left colorful shadows on the back of the page and had the tiniest bit of spot through. I would put a blotter page of paper under my working page or remove the card from the book to color to keep the designs below safe from the slight possibility of seeping ink.Water-based markers, India ink, and gel pens did not bleed through the card. Gel pens took a little longer to dry than usual.Colored pencils worked well with this paper. Oil and wax-based pencils worked well with good color, layering, and blending using a pencil style blending stick.

Lovely drawings
I bought this as a gift for my adult niece, who loves to color for relaxation. She was thrilled with the book and has told me on several occasions how much she likes it. I will be looking at future gift purchases for her from this artist.

If you like flowers, birds, sweet nature things even kitty cats foxes etc. then this is the book for you!
Love this Aridt Edition. It doesn't have as many beautiful pages in that hardcover book but I love being able to pull out the 20 artist additional pages without having to ruin a hardcover coloring book! I texted the author about her other book – summer nights, to ask about the artist edition of that book and she said it was going to be released in the US sometime around Christmas time possibly – I will wait for that artist addition to purchase the book because I don't like to work in hardcover books but I love her work – Ms Karzon is a terrific artist and I endure the first price I did from her Day Dreams Artst Edition. If you like flowers, birds, sweet nature things even kitty cats foxes etc. then this is the book for you!

Really like this edition
Really like this edition. I'm not an artist, far from it, but for me personally it's easier to paint in individual pages that are printed one sided instead two sided printed books for two reasons mainly: I can use any medium I would like, markers, color pencils, gel pens, water color pencils, without the worry of staining the other side of the page; and because it somehow I damage or ruin the page I’m using, I don’t have to display it on the book all the time. The quality of the paper is top of the class and the book it’s detail enough to bring a little bit of challenge. It has only nature theme drawings, not human figure, so if you want the ladies that this artist draw, you should try the book itself.

Don't judge the Daydream book by the cover, read the subtitle for the correct version
A beautifully illustrated book but it wasn't what I expected. I thought this version had illustrations of faces in it but it is 20 one sided pages of animals, insects and plants. I will keep it but I have now ordered the correct 85 page version titled 'Daydreams: Coloring book Illustrated by Hanna Karlzon' Daydreams Coloring Book: Originally Published in Sweden as "Dagdrömmar" (Daydream Coloring Series) All versions of the Daydreams book series seem to have the same cover so read the subtitle so you know what you are ordering. I was looking for a book titled 'Daydreams' with a distinctive cover illustration with a green background so when I saw this I ordered it. This version is the 'Artist's Edition'. It did not occur to me that all the books had the same cover but different content.

Pictures not as complicated
Fantastic paper. I ordered the other Artist's edition after receiving this. Very worth it even though I have the regular book

A Perfect Addition
For the serious colorist, Hanna Karlzon's Daydreams Artist Edition will be a perfect addition to their shelf. This adult coloring book continues the high end standard you have come to expect from a Hanna Karlzon adult coloring book. The paper quality, the outstanding artwork of Karlzon, the over-sized book will be a joy for any colorist as an easel to bring Karlson's artistry to living color.

I love this book and the pictures are gorgeous only thing I'm disappointed in is that the edges of the book up top have com off the book and was little bent so I have something hard on top to flattery the curve. Other than that I love the illustrations.

The most beautiful book
The illustrations and paper quality (its cardstock) in this book are gorgeous. You could use any medium you like on these pages. Images are printed on one side only of the paper and are easy to remove from the book if you wanted to frame them. I paid just under £20 for this book and I would say that its definitely worth the money.
