Unit booted exactly 4 times, then died. Used units like this are usually pretty good. Luck of the draw I guess. I would try again.

The 802.1Q vlan configuration screens on this device are just awful compared to all other managed switch brands, even including the D-Link 1200 series. If you just want to setup a couple VLANS and then edit the port membership directly for those VLANS, its impossible. The screen for adding VLANS is incredibly cryptic even with instructions, and has no option to edit the membership from the VLAN itself. And to change the port membership of a VLAN you have to edit each port manually, and there seems to be no possible way to have a hybrid port where one VLAN is untagged and others are TAGGED.I've been a network admin configuring VLANS on switches from dozens of manufacturers for many years and they have all been relatively the same experience except this device. Very dissapointed because I chose a D-Link product for familiarity but clearly the 1100 series is just garbage.

Disappointed in D-Link. I've always had excellent service from their products, but this one was simply unacceptable. I gave it two stars solely out of brand loyalty. Actually, it might have been a decent switch - *IF* I could have tolerated the atrocious fan noise. Honestly, it had the volume level of a handheld vacuum cleaner. I might purchase another D-Link device in the future, but it will feel like a gamble after this experience.

Ho da poco iniziato a utilizzare questo switch per un impianto di videosorveglianza. L'interfaccia utente è veramente intuitiva e semplice da utilizzare.Peccato solo che (forse vista la potenza massima erogata via POE) la ventola di raffreddamento sia un po' rumorosa (poco adatto per un ambiente domestico).

Lieferung war schnell und sauber verpackt. Der Einbau war auch schnell erledigt.Ein wenig Probleme gab es um sich in den Switch einzuloggen um die Konfiguration vorzunehmen, da Switch und Computer die gleiche IP hatten. Auch dieses Problem wurde schnell beseitigt. ( bei Windows ein paar Probleme mit Mac keine ) Oberfläche sehr intuitiv auch für nicht EDV-ler zu bewältigen. ( Englisch sollte man schon gut können )Noch ist der Switch nicht voll ausgelastet, die Poe ist noch nicht aktiviert.Zz läuft der Switch auf bei uns auf ca. 10% seiner Leistung und macht seinen Dienst ohne ProblemeLautstärke : im Moment nicht zu hören.Als nächstes geplant IP-TVKann den Switch empfehlen.Nachtrag:Nach fast 2 Jahren läuft der Switch immer noch ohne Probleme. In der Zwischenzeit läuft er auch mit POE und versorgt 4 Kameras. Einzig die Steckplätze gehen uns langsam aus.

Ho acquistato questo prodotto in sconto con qualche perplessità vista la convenienza rispetto prodotti concorrenti, ma sono rimasto contentissimo del mio acquisto perché il prodotto riesce a gestire la rete in maniera pulita e veloce.

Das Gerät mach was es soll. Durch die Option Port 25/26 wahlweise Copper oder Fiber betreiben zu können, hat man im privaten Umfeld 2 Ports mehr als bei den üblichen Konkurrenten.PoE funktioniert wie erwartet ohne Probleme.Der Switch hat einen lastgesteuerten Lüfter, die Laststeuerung funktioniert. Trotzdem ist der Swicht nicht für Wohnräume zu empfehlen. Das ist be 24-Port Geräten aber auch eher unüblich.Rackmount Material ist dabei, was aus der Beschreibung so nicht hervorgeht.Für die Funktionalität und Leistung, wie ich finde, ein guter Preis.
