Most of my round brushes separated from the handle due to the heart melting the glue. Have you noticed this happening with this product?

I have had it happen with 3 in a row; one lasted a year and the others started coming apart after around 9 months. Btw some are positing that it was heat causing the glue to fail but I rarely -I mean almost never- used them with a dryer, as I prefer a large round if I do anything beyond towel drying. So it seems it wasn't the heat; maybe poor application or whatever. I wouldn't have bought one if I had know, of course. The moral of the story is blind buying 3 cheap brushes in one shot doesnt save you much sometimes. Otherwise I really liked this brush though. :9

Is the diameter of the large brush 2.5 or 1.5 inches?? It can't be both!!

The diameter of the core of the brush is 1.5 inches, but the diameter of the whole brush (with the bristles) is 2.5 inches.

Does this brush have a combination of hard and soft bristles?

No. The brush has hard bristles, BUT the brush gives great volume

Does Conair make a half round tourmaline infused hair brush?

I saw several different styles including flat and half round.
