There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Trout

I am a music teacher and have a collection of "I Know and Old Lady..." books. This one fit right in with the first graders unit on the ocean/water. They had a really good time singing it and watching the lady get bigger and bigger. The pictures are quite fun.We sing a lot of stories in class. It makes the stories more fun. It also helps the children remember what belongs in the ocean. It works for me!

great for learning to rhyme and holds the children's interest. I have the puppet and just add new props to go with each story.

My grandchildren like to have thus read to them.

I love using this book for spring and teaching students about trout. I think the pictures in this book are colorful and unique. If you are a teacher who teaches trout units this is a must have.
