i used to use a plastic coffee dripper with paper filters, and wow what a difference in flavor not to mention it's so much faster and so much less mess. I will never use anything else again. Best home made cup of coffee I have ever had consistently every time i use it. I highly recommend this product. You do need to clean it immediately after each use to ensure it lasts you a long time.

Taste is subjective, some might not like the taste from these metal filters. i found awesome; stainless steel mesh filters does not soak up the coffee oils like paper does and makes the coffee taste that much better . after the first few weeks of using this filter, i was going to give it 5 stars. cleaning is easy and fast; i simply rinse it under hot water and light brush with a bottle brush. after 6 or 7 weeks of usage ( i make about 10oz of coffee every day), the filter is getting clog. it would take forever (about 15mins) to make 2 cups. seems like the coffee oil gets accumulated over time and will reduce the flow of water through it. i soaked the filter in boiling water and lots of baking soda for over an hour and that fixed it. i will probably need to do this every month. a bit of work, but i think it's still worth it. oh, by the way, if you plan to brew 4 cups every day, this will really test your patience....lol

I bought it last month and I loved it because I was thinking I would save money for paper filters and also would save Earth.But look at my picture.It is so easily broken.Well, I might use it without fixing it. But If you want it use for a long time, please think about it twice.

Holes are too small. Barely even drains water. Adjusted grind to french press size and still no drainage. Totally worthless waste. Already in the trash...

I'm a truck driver. This product works great for brewing my fresh ground organic coffee when I am on the road. The best feature is that it "bangs out" nearly clean and rinses quickly and easily to brand new look. No messy scrubbing needed. Best thing I have bought this year. Love that I don't have to deal with wet filters. Just put the grinds in, pour the water through, and I get perfectly brewed coffee!!

Love this thing! I love it so much I bought two of them...one for home and one for work. I didn’t want the cheap ones with paper that filter out all the good oils and certainly didn’t want plastic. This not only makes a wonderful brew but is very easy to clean and looks great.

It brews a very nice cup of coffee; much better than the k-cup machine we have been using for the last 7 years. I look forward to recovering a lot of counter space when I can finally talk my husband into getting rid of the machine. We both like brewing a single cup of coffee rather than having a carafe sitting around all day.

Makes great coffee... unfortunately it fell apart after a month of use. The Welds separated and then the inside screen peeled apart.
