These clips are pretty neat. Right out of the Amazon box I noticed that for some reason someone stapled the bag shut, I thought it was kind of defeatist because I could either take out the staple or not use the provided bag to store the extra cinch clips in (which I really wanted to do.) But I didn't have a staple remover, and my knives in the kitchen weren't thin enough to go between the bag and the staple, so I grabbed a pair of scissors and cut off the top.The first clip in the bag wouldn't close properly. It only wanted to open/close about 3/4 of the way, so I skipped to the second. The second one worked well on my bag of silver dollar pancakes, although it didn't want to close around the twisted section 100% but it did cover about 90% of it anyway. I did make sure it was really tightly wrapped.This product is going to work for you, but it will depend on how thick the bag you are sealing is. Bread, bagels, frozen veggie bags are no challenge at all and seal up very well. But the thicker wax paper like bags may be a bit more of a problem, again depending on the bag.The colors are great, they are bright enough to catch your eye if they are lost in an ocean of a cluttered drawer.________________________________________________________________I received this item at a discount in return for my personal unbiased opinion.________________________________________________________________

Easy to use and provide a secure grip.

I love me some kitchen gadgets, especially when I discover one I never knew I needed until I purchased them. My husband and kids are constantly losing the twist ties that come with bread and buns, etc so they usually just knot the bag back up or twist it and toss it back into the pantry. These clips are good because they will close your bags back up and you can use them over and over, they work literally with the push of a button. The only thing I do not like about these clips is that they don't work that well on every type of bag. On my bread (in the photo I added) they worked fine, but on another loaf of bakery bread (round loaf, larger and different type plastic bag) they would not fit around he bag no matter how tight I twisted it. So if you buy these, just be aware while they do work (and they seem to be made well) they will not work for everything. If the design was slightly different, like if they made the openings a bit larger this would be a five star item for me, but I'm giving it four stars, because I can definitely use it on the multiple loaves of bread and buns I have in the pantry at any given time, plus the bright colors make them easy to spot in the utensil drawer. I purchased these clips at a promotional price and I agreed to test them out at home and leave an objective review once I had done so. These are my opinions based on my own experience using them, thanks.

These rock! Mostly because my five year old can use them, which means the bread and bagels actually get closed when he's finished! Four out of five stars because I wish the space were just a bit wider, for thicker bags.
