The best bagels I have ever tasted! Fresh and delicious!

I grew up on the East Coast but have been in the Midwest for 40 years. When these bagels arrived, I was thrilled, just like the bagels I remember. My husband who has never had a real NY Bagel loved these. They are a little pricey, but I think we will buy these again.

This is not a traditional bagel at all. It is so soft, just like every other bagel I buy locally. I call it "bread shaped like a bagel". It should be hefty and the outside should be solid from the traditional way it is cooked. Just using NY water does not make a great bagel. Too bad, but I will never purchase this again. BY the way, I used to live not far from Katz bagels (growing up in Boston). And I used to watch the real way to make bagels, including dropping them in boiling water.

Sorry folks, these are NOT real New York bagels. I paid the extra shipping cost because I thought it was worth it, if they lived up to their claims. Don't get me wrong, they are very good bagels, but I could by a similar at my local supermarket. And at half the cost. I don't normally write reviews, but I just was so disappointed. I grew up in New York city, in Brooklyn. We had three Bagel Factories, where they wore made fresh, every day. Simple ingredients. NO dough conditioners, or all the other stuff listed on you label. Flour, water, salt yeast and what ever toppings you want. SIMPLE. Boiled then baked! Thanks

These are big bagels — they average 4-1/4 oz each. Also fairly tasty, but a bit stale. I don’t plan to order them again.
