Eberspaecher Muffler

I installed it in Nov 2016 on my '03 Cooper and it fit perfectly and was pretty easy to install. However by Dec 2017 it had developed a small but noisy leak at the rear of the resonator. I keep my car inside a humidity-controlled garage and drive about 8k miles/yr and the exhaust is otherwise in excellent condition (no rust). Looks like a welding deficiency but its hard to tell. I emailed the manufacturer about their warranty policy but haven't head back yet (as of Jan 18).

it fits perfectly on my 2002 mini cooper... my old muffler was 12 years old and after so much salt accumulating on the top of it here no one can reach, the metal started to deteriorate and eventually it made a hole which made the muffler produce a lot of noise. when i replaced it with the new one, it was so quite, quite than ever.
