After 2 weeks, the device began operating erratically and now it has completely failed. No video, no audio, no USB, just the red power light. Returned for refund.I bought this for digitizing old VHS tapes, and it works fine for that. I also got the unexpected benefit of being able to inset it between my Apple TV and monitor (which has no audio out), and run the audio from the card to my stereo system. It passes the 4K video to my tv without problems, and I get to listen to the audio on good speakers.I've seen some ignorant posters complain about "having to install 3rd party software (OBS) to run it." Not true at all! Every video capture software I use easily recognized the card . HOWEVER, when ever I pass this through to my monitor and secondary PC, there is about a 20 milisecond delay added, the video to my monitor looks TERRIBLE even though it says 4k (Which you can only downscale on your monitor to help reduce the load). AND THEN whenever you pass this through to another PC and plug it into OBS, the quality is 720p which is a lot more inline with what I see on my monitor.This whole item is a scam, from how the start up guide shows OBS, OBVIOUSLY edited to show the settings, since this item cannot live up to its expectations.
