Children of The Corn 6-Film Collection [DVD]

This set is a very solid offering for the price point. You get Children of the Corn Parts 2 - 7. The six films are placed on two separate discs with disc one being a flipper disc. I am happy to have these films in a condensed set and at an affordable price point. However, I was highly disappointed with the quality of Children of the Corn 2: The Final Sacrifice. Here the film is presented in a 4:3 full screen aspect ratio, and the transfer appears to be from a grainy VHS rip. It's really disappointing because there is currently an HD transfer, it's been available on Hulu for streaming. All of the other films are presented in 16:9 widescreen EXCEPT Children of the Corn 2: The Final Sacrifice. Part 2 is my favorite of the sequels, and it's very disappointing that it was not treated with the same level of care as the other films. Hopefully someday Part 2 will get the quality release it deserves since there is an HD master floating around. Overall, this set is so cheap it's still worth it to have the films but buyer beware, you get what you pay for in terms of quality.

i guess i misread(?) movie descriptions vague- i expected the first children of the corn movie to be included. disappointed it was not.

Children of the Corn is a must see for any horror fan! I've yet to be disappointed with any movie in this collection. Issac may very well be one of the scariest children of all time. The price is a steal. It was delivered quickly and problem free.

A great way to pick up all these movies for cheap. No they are not as good as the original movie. Still, if you are a fan of the original movie, or a horror fan in general, then you will likely appreciate this release.

Good series for a great price. Only disappointment was that it didn't have the first.

Part 2 is really a fun movie. So is 3. I have enjoyed all of them. I wish there were someSpecialFeatures but the discs all work and I really enjoy this series. Part one is good too but I enjoy the other movies as well. Part 3 urban harvest is great.

I was told this was a great movie- well, I don’t think so. It’s a group of bored kids scaring a town full of people. I actually got tired of watching it.

i love these movie collections but i have one gripe with this DVD. They skip the first movie, why not add it on the disc instead of making me hunt down acopy of it.

Parts 2 and 3 make this collection worth the price.After that, it's your own judgement that will show if you enjoy the series.The endings of part 2 and part 3 alone are redeeming factors for any negative reception they may have.A demon style possession and a giant cornzilla monster?Yes. THAT is low-budget 90's goodness.For the others, I'd give them a try and see if you like them. 15 minutes, and if you're not digging it, then try another one. Only advice I can give.Other than that, I am fully happy with this set.4 stars, only because I wasn't quite a fan of all of them.

Makes for a fun night with friends gathered around watching this collection, some are worse than others but what a better way to bring a bunch of people together.

As with most series, the original film was a creepy classic, then they quickly dropped in quality and budget, but that's what makes these series fun to watch

Arrived with lots of scratches and finger prints, thank goodness for DVD player that plays most DVDs that got scratches all over it but could play the DVD like it got no scratches at all

With six movies in the one package you certainly get your money's worth - assuming you are a fan of the horror genre.
