This ring is an exact historic reproduction of a Volkswagen engine cover key from a VW Beetle or Bus (c. 1955-1963). The original key was hand-forged into the ring shape and then molded and hand-cast in downtown Los Angeles, California. Each ring is then taken to our shop and individually hand-finished, one at a time - refined, polished, & sized - to your specifications. The sizing is firm but adjustable, so if needed you can make small adjustments yourself! ▪▪▪▪▪▪ These are made from an original key that came from the Union Lock Company of Montreal, Canada - which is what is written around the rim of the VW logo. On some of the rings, you can see "MADE IN CANADA" on the inside.
