**Q: how wide, how long?**
A: I gave this necklace to my granddaughter and she loved it.  I would say the oval is 1" long and 3/4" wide. I hope this helps.

**Q: can the locket hold 2 pictures?**
A: Yes it can. I ordered locket photos from Wolfe photos and they worked great. (Wolfes.com)

**Q: I want to get the inside engraved, is that possible? Is it silver on the inside?**
A: Mine was silver on the inside, I imagine it could be engraved.

**Q: How do you open this locket?  Both my husband and I couldn’t open it.**
A: I opened it with great difficulty and could never close it
